I'd like to explain how I evaluate the string cheese. There's three main criteria:

1) flavor. Some brands make their string cheese way too salty, some of them have a weird soy aftertaste, some of them just taste a little funky, and the rest taste good.

2) texture. This is mostly based on the cheese before you eat it. A waxy string cheese is often not the string cheese for me. Some string cheese feels like it got warm but then it got stuck in a fridge for an hour before you bought it. The biggest red flag is if the cheese already looks like it was partially melted before being encased in plastic.

3) stringiness. I want string cheese to actually be stringy, but not so stringy that it's like eating hair. This is a factor for the solely for sharing with my cat. He won't eat a piece if it's too big or too small.

The only brand I will flat out tell you is not worth your time is sargento. Sargento string cheese is so salty the other factors don't matter

I'm still very proud of my Halloween costume for this year. I went as Miss Scarlet from the Clue board game.

The earrings were regular earrings turned clip ons and it bruised ny earlobe because I wore it for 5-6 hours.

I've been dressing up as Clue board game characters since 2021. The only year I skipped it was when I was Supergirl in 2022. Here is my timeline:

After that? Who knows. I might go as Mr. Boddy in 2028 but I doubt it. I'll probably have a new theme chosen by then

I dread the rising grocery prices. I have dietary restrictions and that shit is already expensive. I have to buy gluten free everything and I already pay an average of $3-4 more for the gluten free alternative than most people pay for the original. If you buy a box of frozen mozzarella sticks, that might cost you $4. It costs me $8 for a smaller box. I already don't make enough to feed both myself and my cat in the same grocery run

The amount of people who do that really bugs me. Being respectful and referring to a person the way they tell you to is pretty easy. If you can't wrap your head around using the terms and pronouns they said to call them, you literally just don't respect them. It's as simple as that. Respect is earned only applies to people who are actively disrespecting you and when you can't refer to a person correctly, they've earned the right to disrespect you back.
