I think he’d be shocked at first (concerned that maybe he drugged you too much, or you received some kind of brain damage that’s skewing your judgement, because.. he almost killed you) but after a while, once you’re healed, he’ll realize you’re genuine. I think he’d be pleased. Creating Stockholm syndrome is the best way to make his captive into a pet, according to him. If you’re already lovey, you’re halfway there.

Ren also just enjoys physical touch. Even in his older age, he likes having someone to cuddle and dote on (even if it’s in his own twisted way). If they return the gesture? Let’s just say he could get used to it.

He’d love being greeted with a kiss when he gets home from work, seeing his pet so eager to be with him makes the stress of his job melt away. He may test the limits of your affection, though— being nice won’t get you out of everything.

I think he’s matured past petty jealousy, but it still might bother him. There’s a simple fix though! He’ll just show you he’s the only one in your life now, by carving out the old name and writing his beside the new scar.

That should be lesson enough, but if not he’ll make sure to incorporate it into your training— shocking you when you mention your old obsession, or when he can tell you value it/them over him.

(I'm the person who asked for the smut headcanons) i don't really know what kind of scenario maybe jealous Derek or deeply mad Derek...

Derek gets mad-mad when his control slips. When you disobey, lie, or betray him. Like he isnt always pissed off guy, maybe annoyed a lot,and has rage simmering but thoose 3 I mentioned earlier is when his fuse gets set off.

💋 Kisses turn into bites. He marks you in obvious places,neck, thighs, hips but harder, deeper they will draw blood.

Mid-board meeting while his father’s screaming at a VP:Derek’s just sitting there, chewing a pen, staring into the table grain, thinking about the way Mutt’s eyes get watery when she’s scared. The VP is about to get fired and Derek’s got a half-chub and zero regrets

During a call with a Saudi oil magnate:He’s nodding, saying “of course, of course” while doodling little dogs in the margins of his notepad. One of them has Mutt’s raggedy little haircut. He underlines “good girl” three times.

While interviewing a new assistant:The poor woman is talking about her Excel proficiency. Derek is just picturing Mutt on her knees begging to stay in his room tonight. He hires the woman without hearing a word.

Reading quarterly reports:His eyes scan the numbers but his brain’s just looping that sound she makes when she tries not to cry in front of him. The profit margin could collapse and he wouldn’t notice.

In the company elevator:Full of suits. Someone’s talking about market volatility. He’s leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets, picturing her collared and curled under his desk. Smiling.

Signing contracts:Every signature is a little rough because he’s imagining how Mutt said “please” the last time he threatened to leash her. One of the lawyers notices his handwriting's different. “Tired day?” Derek just shrugs.

Touring a construction site:The foreman is explaining the foundation work. Derek’s eyes are on the scaffolding, but his mind is deep in the fantasy of hiding her in one of the unfinished rooms. Just for a bit. Just to see what she does.

Reviewing employee grievances:One complaint says “hostile environment.” He smirks. He thinks of how Mutt flinches when he raises his voice, and how she still presses in closer afterward. He signs off on the complaint like it’s a joke.

During a PR crisis: While the team is panicking over a leaked scandal, Derek is silent in the corner. Someone asks if he has a strategy. He says, “Yeah. Muzzle it.” He’s not talking about the press.

Giving a eulogy at a company funeral:Yes. He’s up there, in the suit, saying words about legacy and loyalty while his mind drifts to the night she bit his hand and kissed it after. He almost says her name into the mic. His brother coughs loudly. Derek blinks. “Right. Sorry. Legacy.”

Imagine..

Derek comes home after a long day of work, he seems a bit pissed, most likely cause of work stress, you sit in the dog cage, locked up.

He opens the dog cage, telling u to get out and sit on his bed, u comply, knowing better then to disobey dereks command by now.

Suddenly

Someone knocks on the door of the bedroom (dereks bedroom), the door opens with one of derek servants/maids holding a small box, making dereks eyes lit up in excitement.

He grabs the box from the servant and tells them to go, he looks at you, and tells u to open up to box while u sit on the floor, you do as he says.

He looks down at u with a smirk as u open up the box, as you open it and see what's inside of it, it's a collar. Derek smirks proudly before saying

"I bought you this gift, you better be very grateful I spent my money on you..this collar was very expensive. You see the gold? Its real gold, aswell with my name on the collar is made out of small real diamonds..just for you..my pet.."

You look down at the collar, and put it around ur neck as he tells u to, you blush a bit, feeling objectified..yet at the same time..you feel..special..? He got this just for me..? You smile softly at derek..
