I really HATE IT when book reviewers summarise the entire plot before saying one word about what they think about the book. Especially when the review is on a page like Goodreads where there are countless other reviews. People just copy and paste what they wrote on their blog and it shows.
BookLover69, I have read 10 reviews before this one, you do not have to explain to me the main characters backstory and all the other things I should probably learn while actually reading. Just tell me whether you liked the characters/plot/writing style and I will be able to move on.
I believe you can give some hints about what the book is about to help others figure out whether they will like it but spoiling the first half is not where it is at.

5 anime I liked, but would never rewatch (ranked from most to least likely)
*minor spoilers for the shows listed
5. Shingeki no Kyojin
Some people do not like rewatching shows with big reveals, but that is not the case for me. What I really hate is that one goverment-related arc that slows the entire plot down. The only exception I would make is maybe for the last season because MAPPA made everyone so hot.
4. Zankyou no Terror, because the first part is based on mysteries, and it has not been long enough to relieve the trauma of the second part. The soundtrack lives in my head rent-free anyway.
3. Mushoku Tensei, because it develops so slowly and the main character is pretty creepy and annyoing at first. I am so done with isekai anyway, but the new season looks good.
2. Death Parade, because the most fun part was figuring each episode out. Now that I know how everything plays out, there is not much left - the characters were pretty bland and the overarching plot was mediocre.
1. Cyberpunk Edgerunners, because we are living in a pretty shitty world as is and I do not feel like relieving the fucked up future dystopia. Also, I developed a PTSD-like reaction to the ending song and I could not handle it for a second time.

Ok so I watched the trailer to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes and...
It has so many spoilers? It is worse than when the 75th Games were shown in the 2nd Catching Fire trailer. The first half is fine, but the second was too much really. I will not point it out in case anyone who has not read the book reads this.
Second of all: am I even attracted to men?? How are people finding the guy playing Snow hot...? Not to mention the white hair, it looks so weird on him. Maybe it is the future murders but I do not have an inch of sympathy for him.
As for other actors, Lucy Gray Baird is perfect, no comments. I am really excited to see more of her. A suprise for me was the Peter Dinklage slay, I am really excited to see him even though I don't even remember his character. Disapointed in Sejanus Plinth, he is so far from what I imagined but we will see.
