You can find this button on one side of your extender. • After you have pressed the WPS button, wait for the WPS LED to blink solidly green. • Once the WPS LED is solid green, the Router Link LED will light solid green. • If the Router Link LED has not turned green, try decreasing the distance between your router and extender. • When the Router Link LED will turn green, following this extender will create its network with _EXT extension. • For instance, if you have your existing network with the name Mynetwork, then the extender will create its network with Mynetwork_EXT. • Following this, you can connect your devices to the extender’s network. Find the extender network on your device also, and you will have to use the same credentials that you must have used to connect to the router network. • Now you can unplug the router and, after that, move it to the new location where you usually have the Wifi connection problems. • Also note, this new location must be in the range of the router network. • Then plug the extender into a power socket at your selected location. • You have to wait for the Power LED, and then Router Link LED to turn green for the well-established connection. • If Router Link LED has not blinked green anyhow, try to move the extender to a new location.

• To begin with this setup, you have to open your device and then go to the Wifi manager to find the extender network with _EXT extension. • Once you have found the network, then connect your device to the extender network. After that, check for the Device Link LED on the extender to turn green. • Open a web browser. • Type mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250 in the address bar to go to the New Extender Setup page. To log in for the very first time, you will have to create a Netgear Extender Login account.   • On the New Extender Setup page, you'll have to select New Extender Setup button. Then, fill the respective fields and click Next. • After that, you will see all the available Wifi networks. Then, for the next step, select the network that you want to extend. • Now you will need to enter the password for the selected network and click Next. • Following this, you will have to set the name (SSID) and password for the extender network. • Moving on, you could find this recently created network on your device and connect your device to this network. • Lastly, you would unplug the extender and then move it to your desired area. You could choose the place where you mostly face connection issues. • Now, you will need to plug in the extender again at its new location. And after that, wait for the Power LED to light green. • Likewise, check for the Router Link LED to turn green. If the Router Link LED has not turned green, you can try moving your extender to the new location until it turns green. • Same, check for the Device Link LED. If it hasn’t blinked green, try moving your device close to the extender until the Device Link LED turns green. • If your Router and Device Link LED has turned solidly green, then you have finished the setup.

Logging into Extender Login wizard-

Finally, you have finished the setup. Now it is the time when you can go for the login process.

• Open your device and then go to the Wifi manager or Network access point. • Then find the extender network that you have created during the setup. • After you have found the extender network, connect your device to the network. • Following this, you will need to launch a web browser and type mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250. You need to do this in the search bar. • Now, you will see the Netgear Extender Login page will open. • For the next step, enter your username and password in the respective fields to complete the login process. • Lastly, once you have logged into your account, you will need to make the desired changes to your extender network and make sure to save the settings.
