Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating 5/5✨
The South Asian rep. in this book was SO good I wanted to cry. And the sapphic romance was adorable. IMAO Hani and Ishu are just perfect for each other. Also the fake dating part was just *chef’s kiss*. So yes, I loved this one and I’m anticipating a well-deserved re-read for it.
These Violent Delights 100/5✨
Filled with so much action, drama and adventure TVD gave me just the perfect glimpse of 20′s Shanghai. It gave me everything I was expecting and it drew me in more than I’d ever expected. All the characters were absolutely perfect and I loved each and every one of them. The historical vibes were just *chef’s kiss*.

The Prison Healer 4.5/5✨
The Prison Healer was a book that made me cry in desperation at times. The story was absolutely breathtaking. And Jaren was JUST astounding... Kiva on the other hand was little meh but she was okay. THOSE plot twists blew my mind. And the ENDING was an absolute different story. The intricacy of Lynette Noni’s writing was beautiful and I just CAN’T wait to pick up sequel ‘The Glided Cage’.
When The World Was Ours 100/5✨
I read this book in like January when it first came out so I can’t remember much about it. But all I can say is that it absolutely BROKE my heart. When The World Was Ours is a historical fiction that takes place in the 2nd World War. It’s a heart breaking story about 3 best friends and IF you looking for a book that will change your life for the rest of eternity I recommend you pick this up.
The City of Brass 5/5✨
I don’t if The City of Brass is adult or YA but I loved this Egyptian-Arabic inspired world. At the time I was reading this every Sri Lankan reader on the planet was talking about it so I was like ‘why not?’. And yes, it LIVED up to it’s glorious hype. Halfway trough I was practically in love with all 3 MCs and up to this day I’m still thinking about how it ended.

The Best Books I read in 2021
Six of Crows 5/5✨
Where should I even start with this GORGEOUS, literary masterpiece? Everything about Six of Crows grabbed me in the most beautiful way possible and the way I love this book cannot even be described. IT IS SOOO GOOD
One True King 10000/5✨
April 2021 was when I discovered my love for fantasy and ever since then Soman Chainani SGE series has been my top favorite. Why should I even bother with describing how amazing his books are? Read Soman Chainani if you are looking for a fairy tale inspired world, a beautiful story about two inseparable best friends, betrayals galore and FANTASTIC plot twists
The Wicked King 5/5✨
The 2nd book in The Cruel Prince series shot my heart to a million different pieces!! I love Carden and Jude so much and I will forever ship them. Also that ENDING??? I literally paced my room for like 25 minutes in a complete daze after reading that..
