Hello! We just wanted to take a moment to say we’re aware of the noticeable lack of movement on the dash, as well as lack of interest. Due to this, as a team we’ve decided to shut down Newhaven. It’s been a long five months, and as of right now we have no plans to return in future because we are simply burnt out. Furthermore, we don’t really feel like putting our energy into a roleplay that has a severe lack of interest.

Feel free to wrap up any threads you have.

We would love to keep in touch! Feel free to message us in the discord server. It will remain for a week starting from today to ensure everyone has gotten the news.

WHEN: Monday, August 22 // 11:59PM AKDT — Monday, August 29 // 11:59PM AKDT

WHAT: A semi-dashboard and in-server event. This means you may post starters within our in-character discord server as well as on the dash. You may post photos or moodboards of your OCs in semi-formal garden party attire if you’d like! Tag it with #nhq garden party.

WHERE: Urban Orchids, Newhaven, S.C. While this will be the main setting for this event, you can choose to make starters within any Newhaven location.

WHO: All residents at Newhaven are invited! With that being said, anyone who does not wish to participate is in no way required to do so. 

WHY: To increase revenue for Urban Orchids.

how active are your members?

I would like to preface this with the fact that we are a relaxed roleplay and do not practice regular activity checks. Our members are only required to interact with monthly interest checks, and if we find that anyone needs a hiatus, we reach out about it. See this in our rules under “activity.” With that being said, dash movement varies and has been moving pretty nicely over the past week!
