When I received a call from Dellywood, I was nervous because I never thought that my application form will be selected or I can be a part of Dellywood, But after registration for the first when I met Mr. Babala Kathuriya the International Fashion Renewed Choreographer and Mr. Vinod Ahlawat Founder and Chairman Of Dellywood and Mrs. Onam Ahlawat The show Organizer, They three made me Comfortable and they were very helpful for each and every one.

 Mr. Babla Kathuriya Sir made my life. He built my confidence and taught me how to love yourself.  During this beauty competition, My Husband and my family gave me love and support because without my family it is not possible. India–Finland business relations touch a new high

New Delhi, April 24, 2018: With a view to provide a fillip to India Finland business relations and boost trade and investment between the two countries, Finland Chamber of Commerce in India (FINCHAM) has been established in New Delhi.

The Chamber has been incorporated as an organisation for the business community of Finland in India and will lay out the eligibility criteria for affiliates (both corporate and non-corporate) to become members of the Chamber.

“Finland has some world class innovations that are not yet that well known in India. We want to increase their visibility in India and, at the same time, provide Indian companies with opportunities to invest in Finland”, said Amit Gossain, Managing Director for KONE in India and member of the Finland Chamber of Commerce board of directors. In addition to Gossain, the chamber’s board is formed by the directors of Fortum, Wärtsilä and Nokia in India.

“The Finland Chamber of Commerce in India will promote bilateral commercial and industrial ties, trade, investment, economic, social and cultural relations between India and Finland by serving as a voice for the industry, connecting governments to businesses and facilitating activities and solutions that aid and augment the spirit of entrepreneurship and encourage and promote well-balanced economic growth”, said Board members of the Finland Chamber of Commerce in India.

Finland was one of the earliest countries with whom independent India established diplomatic relations in as early as 1949 and the relations have been warm and friendly ever since.

Trade relations between the two countries have been on a steady upward curve. India’s annual trade with Finland has crossed USD 1 billion. In 2016, Finland was India’s 60th largest trading partner globally, and the 10th largest within the EU. Similarly, in 2016, India was Finland’s 23rd largest trading partner globally, and the fifth largest within Asia.

Currently, about 100 Finnish companies have operations in India, including through investments. Finnish companies are also aiding in Make in India drive. Large companies like KONE, Fortum, Wärtsilä, Nokia, Valmet, Cargotec, Metso, Huhtamaki, Salcomp, Ahlstrom, have set-up facilities in different parts of India.

About 30 Indian companies, mainly in the software and consultancy sectors, are active in Finland. These include TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, L&T InfoTech, Tech-Mahindra and HCL Technologies.

FINCHAM’s principal objectives will be to promote activities that would encourage and stimulate investment by Finnish companies in India, support ongoing business operations of its members and encourage bilateral trade between Finland and India.

Amongst various services that FINCHAM aims to provide include an organized platform where Finnish companies in India can discuss and identify common issues and concerns regarding their economic and trade interests. The Chamber will create sectoral committees where members could represent and express their views and opinions on areas such as trade, commerce, finance, services, industry, agriculture and related issues. The Chamber will also act as an advocacy forum for promoting interests of members on the policy front.

The royal baby was wrapped in a white shawl in his mother’s arms as he was presented to the enthusiastic crowds of well-wishers, anxiously awaiting to take a peek at the newborn prince.

The Duchess looked stunning in a red dress with a white collar, identical to the dress Princess Diana wore after giving birth to Prince Harry, designed by Jenny Packham. She paired the look with nude suede heels.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Smartphone Launched in India

New Delhi, India, 23rd April, 2018: Taiwanese Smartphone maker Asus today launched its latest mid-range smartphone Zenfone Max Pro M1 in India. The handset features an 18:9 full-HD+ display, a large 5000mAh battery, Snapdragon 636 SoC, and face unlock.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone is expected to be pitted against Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, which was the first phone to debut the latest Snapdragon 636 Soc. The Asus handset will be a Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale starting May 3, 2018. This is the global debut of the smartphone.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes at a price of Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM variant, while the model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs. 12,999. The phone comes in two color variants of Midnight Black and Grey. As part of the partnership with Flipkart, customers will be provided complete Mobile Protection – including broken screens, liquid damage, hardware and software faults, etc. at an annual price of Rs. 49/. On Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be made available with no-cost EMI via credit cards and Bajaj FinServ on the first day of the release.

As part of the launch offer, Zenfone Max Pro M1 buyers will get 10GB complimentary data on Vodafone for 12 months on recharges of Rs. 199 and above for prepaid users. There would also be weekly telco and non-telco offers. For postpaid users on Rs. 399 Red plan, Vodafone offers 10GB additional data a month for a year. Customers with Rs. 499 Red plan will get free Red Protect access free.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Asus promises the handset will get Android P and Android Q upgrades. Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) IPS Full View display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, and an Adreno 509 GPU.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a dual camera at the back with a 13-megapixel primary Omnivision sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front shooter has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both the rear and front cameras come with LED flash. The phone packs up to 64GB EMCP inbuilt storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. The device comes with a mammoth 5000mAh battery, with a bundled 10W charger.

In terms of connectivity options, The Zenfone Max Pro M1 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 (with aptX), GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Cabinet passes ordinance for death penalty for rapists of minor girls

New Delhi, Apr 21, 2018: The Union Cabinet approved an ordinance on Saturday to provide stringent punishment, including death penalty, for those convicted of rape of girls below 12 years, amid a nation-wide outrage over cases of sexual assault and murder of minors in Kathua and Surat and the rape of a girl in Unnao

New fast-track courts will be set up to deal with such cases and special forensic kits for rape cases will be given to all police stations and hospitals in the long term, according to the Criminal Law Amendment Ordinance cleared by a Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi

It stipulates stringent punishment for perpetrators of rape, particularly of girls below 16 and 12 years. Death sentence has been provided for rapists of girls under 12 years, officials said quoting the ordinance

The minimum punishment in case of rape of women has been increased from rigorous imprisonment of seven years to 10 years, extendable to life imprisonment, they said

In case of rape of a girl under 16 years, the minimum punishment has been increased from 10 years to 20 years, extendable to imprisonment for rest of life, which means jail term till the convict’s “natural life”

The punishment for gang rape of a girl below 16 years will invariably be imprisonment for the rest of life of the convict, the officials said

Stringent punishment for rape of a girl under 12 years has been provided with the minimum jail term being 20 years which may go up to life in prison or death sentence, they said

The Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Evidence Act, the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act will stand amended once the ordinance is promulgated after the approval of President Ram Nath Kovind, they said

The measure also provides for speedy investigation and trial. The time limit for investigation of all cases of rape has been prescribed, which has to be mandatorily completed within two months

The deadline for the completion of trial in all rape cases will be two months, the officials said. A six-month time limit for the disposal of appeals in rape cases has also been prescribed

There will also be no provision for anticipatory bail for a person accused of rape or gang rape of a girl under 16 years, the officials said

It has also been prescribed that a court has to give notice of 15 days to a public prosecutor and the representative of the victim before deciding bail applications in case of rape of a girl under 16 years of age

Enhancing the powers of the judiciary to provide stringent punishment in rape cases, the Cabinet approved a number of measures, such as strengthening the prosecution, besides setting up new fast-track courts in consultation with the states and high courts concerned

New posts of public prosecutors will be created and special forensic kits for rape cases given to all police stations and hospitals in the long term, the officials said

Dedicated manpower will be provided for investigation of rape cases in a time-bound manner, they said quoting the Cabinet decision

Special forensic labs exclusively for rape cases would also come up in each state, they said

“These measures will form part of a new mission mode project to be launched within three months,” the officials said

The National Crime Records Bureau will maintain a national database and profile of sexual offenders. This data will be regularly shared with the states and the Union territories for tracking, monitoring and investigation, including verification of antecedents of sex offenders by the police

The present scheme of ‘One Stop Centres’ for assistance to victim will also be extended to all districts in the country

After the Nirbhaya case in December 2012, when the criminal laws were amended, the provision of death penalty in case a woman either died or was left in a “vegetative state” after rape was introduced through an ordinance which later became the Criminal Law Amendment Act

The government informed the Supreme Court on Friday that it is actively considering amending the law to introduce death penalty for those convicted of sexually abusing children up to 12 years

“An ordinance today is the best way to deal with the issue. An amendment bill will have to wait (till July) when the Monsoon Session of Parliament commences,” a law ministry official said

New Delhi, April 20, 2018: Bollywood actress and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty Kundra has come on board as an equity investor in a Delhi-based mother and childcare brand Mamaearth. Mamaearth is a product of Honasa Consumer Pvt Ltd.

Mamaearth is a ‘MadeSafe’ certified brand offering toxin-free mother and childcare products. It aims to reduce parental stress, by providing natural and safe solutions. Founded by husband-wife duo Varun and Ghazal Alagh focuses on safe, toxin-free products.

The first round of funding was led by Kanwaljit Singh and a few other investors in 2016. The company raised $1 million in the second round of funding led by Fireside Ventures and other investors in 2017.

India joins US to ring alarms over China-Vietnam face-off in South China Sea

New Delhi, May 10, 2014:  In the aftermath of the China-Vietnam faceoff in the South China Sea, international powers like the USA has set the alarm bells ringing on the prospect of peace and safety in the region. India joined the USA in raising alarm over China’s expansionist attitude, marked by the latest expeditions in the South China Sea.  The Chinese expeditions in the South China Sea clashed with Vietnam and the Philippines earlier this week. New Delhi, without naming China or Vietnam, called for freedom of navigation in the sea.

After five days the Chinese vessels rammed Vietnamese vessels near the Paracel Islands, India’s external affairs ministry said it is concerned about the “recent developments” in the South China Sea. “We would like to see resolution of the issue through peaceful means in accordance with universally recognized principles of international law,” said the Indian foreign office in a statement.

However, it is still not clear whether India referred to the conflict over sovereignty of the areas that China and Vietnam claim, or its concern regarding a potential Sino—Vietnamese flare-up. Earlier, Chinese and Vietnamese ships had apparently rammed each other and Chinese vessels used water canons on the Vietnamese vessels.

Videos posted by Vietnam shows how its ships were rammed by Chinese civilian and military vessels that formed the group that accompanied the CNOOC mobile oil rig, Haiyang Shiyou 981, which showed up in Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ) for oil exploration activities. The rig came along with a flotilla of civilian and military ships. According to reports, after Vietnamese naval vessels asked Chinese ships to leave, the Chinese ships rammed them, reportedly injuring six sailors.

Vietnam military spokesperson said to foreign media, “Vietnam has exercised restraint”. “But if Chinese vessels continue ramming Vietnamese ships, we’ll have to act out of self-defence,” said a senior Vietnamese commander.

On the other side, the Chinese defended their actions. They said the Vietnamese ships had rammed theirs 171 times. Yi Xianliang, deputy director general of the department of boundary and ocean affairs, said, “Vietnam had started the problem. Between May 3 and May 7, Vietnam has dispatched 35 ships that have rammed Chinese vessels 171 times.” “Chinese ships are government ships. Vietnam ships are armed,” he said.

Congress moves EC over Modi's affidavits on his marital status

  NEW DELHI: The Congress party on Friday moved the Election Commission over Narendra Modi’s affidavits on his marital status. In a desperate last minute effort to fire fight and save its turf, the congress went to EC to deter Modi and his growing popularity..

“We have given a plea to the Election Commission. In his affidavit in Vadodara, Narendra Modi informed that he is married. Prior to that, none of his affidavits mention this. It is hence proven those affidavits were wrong,” said Congress leader Kapil Sibal.

Narendra Modi, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, declared for the first time that he was married in his affidavit for the Lok Sabha elections this time. Modi had declared in an affidavit while filing his nomination papers in Vadodara that Jashodaben is his wife. However, his earlier affidavits for assembly elections, the marriage column were left blank.

Congress says it has now been proved that Modi’s had given false declarations in his previous affidavits. Congress has appealed to Election Commission to look into the false affidavits issue.

“Modi did not furnish name of his spouse as mandated by law,” said Sibal. “it was not a personal issue but a legal issue.”

Meanwhile, Modi addressed a rally in Chhatisgarh and exerted the people to throw away the congress led by its ‘Shahazada who has born with silver spoons in his mouth. It’s only a person who has suffered poverty himself can understand the pain of poverty not the people born with silverspoon  in their mouth like the Shahzada,” exerts Modi.

Modi also told people how MP and Chattishgarh- both states created by the BJP have managed to break their BIMARU status –  are flourishing under BJP chief ministers in contrast to the bloodshed and discontent that accompanied the forced creation of Telengana and Seemandhra. Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi too addressed a separate rally in the same state and waged a tug-of-war with Modi launching scathing attacks on the BJP and Modi.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed people at Balasore in Orissa and told people parties like the BJP do not have any clear thought on governance for the country. She said how the ruling BJD government has swindled 2700 crore of central funds that was meant for the people of the state and askd the people to vote for change.

Nitish’s PM ambitions led to alliance break-up: Modi

PURNEA, India, 10th Mar, 2014: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar’s vaulting ambition to become prime minister finally led to the collapse of the alliance between the Janata Dal United (JDU) and the Bharatiya Janata Party, said  BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi said here on Monday.

Addressing a mega rally, Modi wondered why the JD(U) broke the long partnership.

“Now we know why he broke the alliance. The dream of becoming Prime Minister was not letting him sleep,” said Modi.

Taking a dig at the Third Front, he said it has a dozen prime ministerial aspirants. “Look at the Third Front… almost all parties have saved the Congressand supported it at some point of time. There are either former prime ministers, or PM aspirants. There are more than a dozen people who have got clothes stitched to become the prime minister.” he said.

  Modi said if the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance comes to power, it will develop the country’s eastern region, including Bihar, by providing all necessary help. “Our government’s priority will be to develop the eastern part of the country, including Bihar, Assam, Odisha and West Bengal at par with the western part,” he said.

All seven convicts in the Rajiv assassination case set free

CHENNAI, Feb 19, 2014:  After Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa decided to set free all the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has expressed deep dissapontment on the decision. Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assasinated by an LTTE suicide bomber on May 21, 1991 in Sriperumbudur.

“I am saddened that Rajiv Gandhi’s killers are being set free,” Rahul said on Wednesday.

“If a Prime Minister’s killers can be released, what kind of justice should the common man expect? The Prime Minister of our country was killed, I am sad the killers are being released,” he said.

The ruling AIADMK government on Wednesday decided to set free all seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, a day after the Supreme Court commuted the death penalty of three of them to life.

The Congress party has condemned the surprise move by the Tamil Nadu government as “perverse and populist”.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa announced in the state assembly that triggered celebrations by pro-Eelam supporters in the state.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had commuted the death sentence of Murugan, Santhan (both Sri Lankan Tamils) and A G Perarivalan due to the Centre’s 11-years delay in considering their mercy pleas.

The Tamil Nadu government set a three-day deadline for itself and also to the Centre over the release of the three and Nalini, Robert Pious, Jayakumar and Ravichandran, who are undergoing life sentence for their role in the assassination of Gandhi by an LTTE suicide bomber on May 21, 1991 in nearby Sriperumbudur.

The Tamil Nadu government would send the Cabinet proposal to the Centre as mandated under Sec 435 Cr.PC seeking the Centre’s nod for release of convicts. If there is no response within three days, then the state government would invoke powers vested with it under Sec 432 Cr.PC and release all seven convicts.
