So i just finished episode 8 and I'm not sure if this is me having a case of fangirl fever but am I the only one who saw Charles putting his hand over his heart, exactly like we saw edwin do, once they broke apart from their hug at the end of the episode like I get it could just be like 'omg we aren't going to the afterlife/edwin isn'tgoing back to hell' relieve gesture but it's literally mirroring the same thing edwin did when he realised he was in love with him like ??? So I just finished episode 7 of dead boy detectives and I am lowkey so annoyed like if they weren't gonna make charles have the same feelings for edwin why couldn't they build up more on monty like we could all see that he developed genuine feelings for edwin and they were so cute together even though edwin loved charles I feel like if they had just made monty rebel against ester (and not die in the process) and then become a member of the crew then from that point pair edwin and him for scenes often perhaps edwin could fall for him as well while still loving charles ofc charles/edwin endgame would be awesome but if not than I would have liked them just as much tbh
