(Keeping my rambles below the cut instead of in the tags this time!)

Oh I’ve had them in my brain to this song for so long but the “enemy caretaker angst prompt” really set it in stone for me love them (more specifically just these two versus separately, but other parts of the song kinda? Fit?? You might have to squint a little. It’s a very specific story the song is based off of, anyways.)

This “you’ve given me purpose” thing they have going on, but stemming from different ideas and reasons, is giving me life. Your honor I love them.

This was also rlly fun to make but a bit of a pain to sketch cuz,, the proportions just refused to come out right. But the colors were fun. And it looks so textured and grody I love it. One of my new fave brushes fr. And plz don’t mind the lighting not making much sense it’s just pretty. I do everything is some form of weird/pretty. (Weird, pretty, weirdly pretty, pretty weird, etc etc)

I rlly do need to get Tanguish’s outfit nailed day one day. Like- properly with colors n all. I have like 4 outfits that he switches through in my head simultaneously while I’m drawing, and they’re all relatively the same anyways. And Helsknights- I’m so used to making lighter colored clothing that I forgot HK would prob wear dark colors. Or- does wear dark colors. They were introduced wearing black-painted armor.

I just need to fix their colors. Also I made Tanguish spikier! I’m! Not sure why! But the claws and back-spikes ig inspired me? So I gave him some spikes on his heels(?) and elbows (not visible anymore- but looked cool in sketch)

The part I hate of being a self taught artist is having an idea that you know what you want the end product to look like and you know exactly what you want to portray but you have no idea how to portray it. So something that takes a professional a day to make “perfectly” would take me weeks to form some stilted, shoddy version of what I truly wanted.
