Justice DY Chandrachud son of the longest-serving CJI Y. V. Chandrachud ,(16th CJI - 1978-85) is all set to become the 50th CJI . He is a former CJ of the Allahabad HC and a former judge of Bombay HC. Currently serving as the Executive Chairman of NALSA ( National Legal services authority ).
