Everyone at DN and NJHNEWS hopes you’ve been enjoying Niall’s debut album, “Flicker,” so far! We’ve all been doing a great job of supporting Niall by buying and streaming the album, but we need to do more if we want to ensure Niall hits #1 on the weekly charts!

And so, we present to you: PROJECT FLICKER!

“Project Flicker” is a stream-only project. We will be concentrating our efforts specifically on Spotify. Our goal as of right now is 1.7 million streams per track.

[Blind Gossip] A few of years ago, this male singer dated a civilian woman under a contract. While his fans did not like her, we repeatedly pointed out that she was one of the most genuinely caring people in his life.

After they parted ways, his life got very bumpy. She kept in touch with him throughout. Basically, she was there for him, even if there was nothing in it for her.

He’s emotionally vulnerable right now and he’s come to the realization that she was pretty much the only girl he knows who didn’t screw him over. They are hanging out together again as friends right now, but he is actually thinking about asking her to do another contract with him.

Before his fans go crazy, they should consider this: That might be a GOOD thing!

He’s hurting right now and could really use a stable female influence in his life whom he trusts. She genuinely cares about him as a friend, she is mature and stable for her age, she is trustworthy, and there won’t be any drama. “Dating” her again would be a very easy solution to his current problem. The sooner he gets his act together, the sooner he can get back to making music.

Right now there is no contract, but if they do decide to enter a new agreement, it’s going to be for a minimum of one year… so fans should be prepared to have her around for a while!

The size of Freddie was really bugging me, so I wanted to graphically show people how large he really is compared to a 2.5month old. Here’s the pic I was working from, the baby mat that I think is right (http(:)//www(.)amazon(.)com/Bestever-Baby-Giraffe-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B0013FKDU8) and the size of the mat (34x30in). I drew a line representing the 30 in across, then flipped the line vertically to get that same 30 in represented. Freddie did look smaller than 30, so I drew a line at the same angle representing Freddie’s length, not really compensating for his bent knee either (so likely under estimating his length). I took the sizes of these lines (3.3cm and 2.85cm - thanks powerpoint) and did a little cross multiplication to get the conversion of the 2.85cm line into represented inches. You get 25.9 or ~26in.

Now I grabbed a growth chart for male infants from the CDC (centre for disease control, standard growth chart). From the bottom horizontal axis you have the age in months, the left upper vertical axis you have the length in inches. On the chart are the growth curves. The bold line in the centre is the 50th percentile. On average, males who are 2.5 months of age are ~23in in length. 26in is the 50th percentile for male infants who are 5 months of age (twice as old as Freddie). If an infant was 26in at 2.5 months, he would be “off the chart” and above the 98th percentile for his age (the circle). And remember, I didn’t even try to compensate for the bent knee - Freddie is probably even a bit bigger than 26in in that photo.

How do physicians use growth charts? They track an infant’s growth and look for it to be in keeping with their own growth curve and they also keep in mind when infants are not in keeping with expected growth norms. Being above the 98th percentile for length is not impossible, but it is definitely unusual (even fewer than 2% of infants would be this long or “tall” at this age). Also, in the first shots of Freddie with Louis , Freddie did not seem big for his age - far more likely he was of typical length at birth (somewhere between the 25th-75th percentiles). So, to go off the chart by age 2.5 months would be even more unusual as it would not be in keeping with his previous size. 

Bottom line - when people say that Freddie looks “too big” to be 2.5 months, this isn’t just some random instinct. There’s standardized information to back up that gut feeling.
