I still don't understand the point of that blog

A space for people to be cowards on anon! To send hate first about the gf they don't know and now it's about blogs they don't know. And to post this shit publicly with your whole chest while admitting some were rude....brain damage. If you are nearly 40 years old and you behave like you're 12, something severely wrong. Someone tell @horansqueen and her selective attention that I know for a fact they stole HQs from us. I had to message @narrymybed about it multiple times. I was tracking all the HQs and it was funny how every other UA can credit us except yours and then you’d randomly credit IG accounts as if they’d ever been the source of truth. You’re a fully grown adult yet you run a hate account dedicated to hating someone you don’t know and now you let it be a platform to shit talk other blogs on here. Are you that desperate for attention that you stoop so low?

It has come to my attention that I am letting people down because we are “severely lacking in content” and prompt updates. I am so sorry to have failed you all at this completely voluntary, unpaid, unrecognized job of running this update account. 

I’ve been running DNN by myself for 3 years at this point. Two of my friends help when they can if I’m completely unavailable. I have a full time job, other interests, and a life outside of fandom and Niall. Not a single person from the original group of owners is an active stan anymore. 

When there are important updates, they are ALWAYS prompt. All his instagram posts, all his tweets and announcements. Anything related to music is immediately posted. Everything exciting (like his thing with Lewis the other day) was posted. Sorry we’re not posting every single FAN picture that barely anyone reblogs, from yet another golf tournament! No one cares that much about those anyways and even then, we’re posting the HQs that we have and worthwhile content. Every sighting throughout the weeks is also posted, and sometimes that includes his girlfriend! The same way we do with Deo, Mully, Martin, every person who’s a constant presence in his life. Sorry we don’t treat her like she’s a disease! 

It IS hard work running an update account, people have gotten burnt out from it all the time. When he releases music, it takes hours and hours of work to post content in a well organized and formatted way. It takes a long time to find content because we always source where we got it from. There is no “credits to owner” or posting without the original link. And every other account everywhere posts without credit so of course it’s faster?? I spend HOURS trying to find things for DNN just to make sure it’s sourced?? 

To act like we owe anyone anything, to answer multiple asks specifically targeting and attacking me, to talk like I work for the fandom and i’m failing at my job is disheartening. After all the work put into this blog for YEARS, sorry I needed a breather while he’s not doing anything related to his music career and have chosen not to post every single image or video ever. 

You have two other options, one that steals HQs we’re paying for without crediting us and one that hates everything about him outside of 1D. You’re not obligated to reblog anything from DNN! I haven’t posted this for praise! I don’t want anything out of this. But at least be decent towards the people behind the blog. You don’t get to treat me like I’m fucking up and shit talk me on your little hate blogs.
