This is the Binding method that I will be using for creating the book for drawing of the character movement. I will try binding the individual movements instead on each page as I want them to be easy to flick through instead of having each drawing separated.
I found this video very helpful when creating the movements for my owl character flying. It was very helpful having the slow motion video and the very clear shots to see the clear ling on motion of the owl and its wings.
From 4:48-4:56 I like the way that they pan across the setting from left to right revealing the open space from behind the trees. I think I will use a shot like this in my animation to reveal Soars looking at the deer and fawn.
The aspect of this short animation that I would like to use in my animation is how the title is revealed. Because growing and revealing is happening with the tapestry I would like to bring that element into how I bring the title onto the screen.
I like the style of this animation. It is a style that I could use for my animation. Colour in the characters and add an overlay of the watercolour texture to it at the end. I think this would be very helpful to do for my project if I am running out of time and can't add the texture to the characters individually.
I think that the style of this short is nice and something I am interested in looking into for my fyp. I like how they show the depth of field between the the different layers of the setting.
