How did fem! labru first meet in your au? :0

I've been tossing around a couple of different ideas for my own AU! Overall, though, I like the idea that Laios just happens to visit the island with her husband and child for some kind of work thing. Kabru is, as ever, on top of all the gossip of the island, and is generally in tune on when someone of interest arrives-- and she's *highly* aware of who Falin and Marcille are as she's heard rumors of two men of poor repute trying to research how to create a dungeon, so Falin's older sister suddenly showing up in town as well from their backwards little town? She has to investigate.

So it's not all that different from canon labru where Kabru is curious about Laios and her intentions, so she approaches her in the tavern or at the inn or something. The difference is that she's a lot more successful with this approach because fem Laios is a lot lonelier and a lot more tired.

And, God, does Kabru hear the alarm bells ringing when Laios is discussing her husband. She promises to spend more time with her, telling herself (and her party members, if any of them are aware) that she's going to gather further intel on Falin in case it becomes relevant, but in reality, she's both worried about Laios' situation and interested in her as a person (she even winds up using some connections to keep Laios' husband in town with extra work for a few extra months to keep Laios in town).

Meanwhile, Laios is both happy to be on the island and making friends and also struggling with it—she's got all the same difficulties with making friends as canon Laios, but now is also a) in a Bad, likely isolating Relationship and b) exhausted from childcare. She's shocked by how kind Kabru is to her, though, and finds herself feeling a type of excitement she hasn't had in a very long time.

Fem!Labru idea

Kabru’s party stumbles back to Laios’ village years after Laios left it with her son.

Laios finds out that her parents disowned her and got her banished from the village and her husband, who managed to get the marriage annulled in the meantime, married a poor young girl who is treated like a slave and wants to get his son back. Despite Laios refuses to let that happen, the laws forces her to give up her kid.

GODDDD after Kabru helps just . Steal the kid back. Laios and the kid would have to break the new girl outta there too and then kiddo would be like yay ^_^ 3 moms ^_^

Fallin and Marcille nearly have a stroke when they find out that Fallin’s 8 years old nephew is an apprentice rogue and has explored various dungeons alongside her mom.

It gets even worse when the kid casually tell them that a living armor stabbed him in the chest but then he got resurrected and now he has a cool scar.
