Media
Our Ineffables working in, dealing with, or having fun with different kinds of media.
Podcast and newspaper:
Friends Don't, by MissUnderstoodLyrics. Rated E, 33k. P. Dec 24.
Honestly, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved this story. In my comment on the last chapter I said that it was like an unexpected day off at work: precious, exciting, comfortable, you know it will be over all too soon but it’s one of those gifts that make life happier. In this enemies (meh!) to friends (ha!) to lovers (yay!) Crowley and Aziraphale work as advice columnists for two rival newspapers in Tadfield. The newspapers are bought by the same media company and our two heroes find themselves co-hosting a podcast. How will they cope? Oh, they’ll cope very well indeed, let me tell you. This fiction is uplifting and funny, the banter is clever without ever feeling like they are overdoing it, and the Ineffables react to their feelings in an insecure, fragile, but all too relatable -and fairly realistic- way. It never feels like the writer is pushing it. It became instantly one of my all time favourites.
Vlog:
To Catch A Ghost, by anatomicgirl. Rated T, 17k. P. Feb 25.
Such an intriguing ghost story! Spooky and sweet in equal measure. Human AU in which friends Aziraphale and Crowley are vloggers dealing with paranormal phenomena. On their way to Tadfield they find themselves stuck alone in a cottage belonging to an old lady and her niece. Even skeptic Crowley has to eventually concede that the cottage is haunted. Obliviousness in action, this fic was lovely!
Webzine:
Read Between The Lines, by MissUnderstoodLyrics. Rated E, 5k. P. Feb 24.
I loved, loved, loved this friends to lovers human AU! Crowley and Aziraphale work at the same webzine, are friends and are secretly pining for each other. Just the right amount of miscommunication and very low angst, this story is so sweet and heartwarming!
TV:
Showstopper, by espresso_six_shots. Rated E, 40k. P. May 25.
Sweet and zero angst human AU, where Crowley is an actor who decides to take part in a TV baking show (I think based on The Great British Bake Off) because he has a crush on the judge, Aziraphale. As the story progresses, more of their backstory is revealed. As a big fan of side characters I loved everyone who made an appearance in this fic, with Tracy sometimes stealing the scene. Lovely.

Reality TV
While I can't say I am a fan of reality TV (I have never seen any of the shows the fics in this list are based, yet), I love a good story in any setting!
Naked And Afraid: Jingle Hell by @klikandtuna, rated T, 24k. (Dec 24)
Human AU. A fictional transcription of an episode of reality show Naked And Afraid. Yes, Naked And Afraid is a real show, and no, you don’t need to have watched it to enjoy this sweet, funny, from strangers-to-lovers fiction. Lighthearted and yet tense, great characterisation, banter, will-they-won’t-they, humour, this fiction has it all! I absolutely loved it. Honestly, you don’t know me, but trust me: if I speak enthusiastically about a fiction based on a survival show, it must be that good.
Married At First Sight, by Aracloptia. Rated T, 146k. P. Dec 23.
A new classic! I doubt anyone reading these lists might have missed this fic, but let me tell you how much I loved it anyway! As the title suggests, Aziraphale and Crowley take part in the reality Married At First Sight. It's hate at first sight for our two heroes, unfortunately, but the slow burn that follows must be one of the sweetest things I've read in fiction. Crowley and Aziraphale both come a long way to understand each other and let their guard down, and the whole process is just marvelous to witness. And, no, I've never watched a single episode of the show Married At First Sight either, you really don't need to on order to enjoy this fabulous fiction. Lovely array of side characters to top it all!

E-rated in-universe one-shots
What it says on the tin.
Proving One’s Loyalty, by indigovigilance , rated E, 4k. P. Jan 24.
Set towards the end of season 1, Aziraphale goes to heaven to speak with a higher authority only to find that Gabriel has taken Crowley prisoner. Aziraphale has to torture him in order to prove himself to heaven. Smut ensues.
My own An Angel And A Demon Go To A Halloween Party. Rated E, 4k. P. Oct 24.
Just a silly little thing to try my hand at smut (and end up in fluff. And a little humour, hopefully.)
Two To Tango, by Anonymous. Rated E, 2k. P. Apr 19.
Book Omens PWP with two Crowleys and a very, very happy Aziraphale. Read the tags and enjoy!
Angels Don't Blow Their Own Trumpets, by shaggydogstail. Rated E, 8k. P. May 24.
This story made me cackle! Crowley poisons himself by accident (well, by trying to be cool, point is he didn't mean to) and there's only an antidote that can save him. Please DO READ the tags for this one.
My own In Vino Ludus, rated E, 3k. P. Apr 24
It's the year 2030. Crowley comes to the bookshop drunk. An as of yet canon divergent fluffy night in the life of an angel and a demon. I was struggling with a chapter for a longer fiction and needed a lighthearted, fluff-filled, angst-free break.

Bittersweet, open or unhappy ending
If you read my recs you might know that I'm really not a fan of angst. I like to keep my fanfic reading as happy as possible, with short lived angst and tension. So you'll know that if you find angst-filled fictions here it means they must be very good to make me overcome my angst aversion! Keep those tissues handy!
The Bookmark And The Beach Cafe, by in_a_pickle. Rated T, 4k. Jan 24.
Absolutely lovely and delicate in-universe fiction where Aziraphale gets chatting with a waitress while he's away from London on an assignment.
I had a lump in my throat the whole time while reading this, but it's so beautiful. The ending is open and bittersweet in the sense that the story is set at some point before the events of season 2, maybe even before the events of season 1, therefore the ending will be whatever the ending of Good Omens is.
Let Me Be Empty: A Prologue, by Koala2all. Rated E, 4k. P. May 25.
High angst fiction but with elements of tenderness that pop up unexpectedly. Crowley is missing Aziraphale and decides to turn to Lucifer for comfort. The fic is narrated in Lucifer’s POV and does not have a Crowley and Aziraphale happy ending. It's beautiful, but please read the tags.
What God Has Joined Together Let No One Separate, by alarmingly. Rated T, 10k. P. Feb 25.
The prose in this fic is so delicate and poetic and evocative. Unusually for the fics in my list, this story has a bittersweet ending and a somewhat angsty tone, but it’s oh, so beautiful. It starts the moment Aziraphale gets out of the lift in heaven, but it’s not a post S2 fiction, not really. It’s so much more. Without wanting to spoil it too much, I strongly recommend reading it if you like canon divergent AUs. Or, you know, if you like very good writing. But be ready for a heartache.

Weddings and marriage proposals
This list is only about weddings and proposals between Crowley and Aziraphale. I might make another list later with side characters weddings, just for fun. But for now, here you go.
Human AUs:
Courage (A Reverse Trope Story), by SpectrallyDistracted. Rated E, 30k. P. May 25.
This funny, deep, fluffy enemies to lovers human AU made me feel all the feels and ended safely on warm and fuzzy. Crowley and Aziraphale despise each other, but find themselves accompanying Maggie and Nina on holiday out of loyalty. It’s going to be a long week. Romantic and sexy, the fic explores the many ways courage can manifest, from the courage to recognise your mistakes to the courage to let yourself be vulnerable (and everything in between). Superfluffy ending.
My own fiction, Deluded, rated M, 27k. P. Apr 25.
Human AU rated M for Misunderstandings and Miscommunication (yeah, ok, and mature). Crowley agrees to go on a blind date with Aziraphale, but he doesn't really do dates. He tells as much to Aziraphale and leav... lea... leeeeeeavmmm... All right, stays, OK? I started off lighthearted, added a pinch of angst, skipped the smut, clumsily attempted some humour, and landed safely on fluff. These are literally the five themes of the five chapters.
There Was Never A Dream To Compare, by On1OccasionFork. Rated T, 3k. P, May 25.
A Sequel to Our Homeward Steps Were Just As Light, this fic touched me just as deeply. It’s no secret that I’m partial to young master Warlock, and this fic is narrated in his POV, although in a human AU version of our Ineffables. This story is tender and delicate, it exudes love in all its different forms and it just makes you want to hold on to things. And to people. And I’m not crying, YOU ARE! But dry away those tears, this story has a happy ending!
Married At First Sight, by Aracloptia. Rated T, 146k. P. Dec 23.
A new classic! I doubt anyone reading these lists might have missed this fic, but let me tell you how much I loved it anyway! Lovely array of side characters to top it all!
In-universe:
One Perfect Day by PirateFanatic. Rated T, 4k. P. Oct 23.
Canon universe story where Crowley and Aziraphale are safe. In fact, they are about to go to a wedding. As Aziraphale dresses up, Crowley moans that he doesn't want to go, but Aziraphale doesn't give him a choice. And, in the words of the writer, with good reason.
The Exponent Of Breath, by possibilityleft. Rated T, 8k. P. Oct 24.
This is another absolute gem that I loved so much this month! It shows us moments in time when Aziraphale and Crowley have attended weddings. It's a mix of past, future, better times, warm feelings and happiness. Deep and beautiful. Some fictions you can clearly put it into words why you liked them, and some just speak to you at a deeper level, they just touch something inside you, and this is one of those.

Low to no angst (human AUs)
Mmm, Ok, right, yeah. I know. The large majority of what I read is low to no angst, I know. Which doesn't necessarily mean without tension or conflict, by the way. This list might as well have been called Just another human AU list because I wanted to make one. What can I say, I want our Ineffables happy.
There's No Algorithm For The Ineffable, by Thinkinginscripts. Rated T, 12k. P. Sep 24.
Aziraphale runs a matchmaking agency for queer professionals, and he's very successful at his job. Crowley has come to accept that he might need help to find a lifelong partner; unfortunately there seems to be something quite wrong with all three candidates Aziraphale introduces him to. Zero angst, this fic is heartwarming and adorable.
Growing On Me, by Hermiola. Rated M, 120k. P. Jan 25.
I subscribed to this fic when it first came out and had been wanting to read it since then.
I'm SO glad I finally got to it! (Thank you Good Omens Fic Club on Discord!)
I loved it.
Enemies to lovers, forced proximity human AU. Crowley is a rockstar in need of a lyricist. Enter erotica writer Aziraphale.
The humour throughout the story was a treat and more than once I got looks from my fellow commuters because I was giggling or snorting laughter.
Crowley and Aziraphale's slow journey into introspection was very sweet to witness.
I'm always partial to fictions that feature the Them and Warlock, and their characterisation here was spot on and really entertaining; I will love Hermiola's Warlock for life!
This story was captivating, entertaining, sexy, incredibly funny, and made me want to read more whenever I had to put it down. Virtually no angst. A new classic!
Friends Don't, by MissUnderstoodLyrics. Rated E, 33k. P. Dec 24.

Postcards From Paris, by ghostrat. Rated G, 12k. P. Oct. 23.
I very seldom reread whole fictions, but I'm so glad I reread this one! (Thank you and shoutout to the Good Omens Fanfiction Club Community on Tumblr!)
Human AU. Crowley has recently moved to a new flat and he receives postcards meant for the previous owner.
Ghostrat managed to tell us the building of a lovely bond only through short messages.
I love Crowley's quiet and relatable vulnerability in this story, and I absolutely love Aziraphale’s mask of confidence shining through Crowley's POV.
The gentle jokes, teasing and feelings: all felt very well balanced, but not less emotional because of it. A classic.
Caramel Delight, by AJ_Constantine, rated E, 16k. P .Aug 23.
Lovely neighbours to lovers human AU. Crowley is instantly attracted to the new neighbour and his -oh, lord- forearms (and, I mean, who wouldn't?). But he's determined not to make things awkward, they are just friendly neighbours. That's why Aziraphale keeps knocking on his door for more of that caramel sauce Crowley makes so well. One of the tags in this fiction is: Aziraphale is bad at flirting. I very much beg to differ.

Friends to lovers
Did you ever fall in love with your best friend but kept it to yourself because you didn’t want to lose said friend?
Read Between The Lines, by MissUnderstoodLyrics. Rated E, 5k. P. Feb 24.
I loved, loved, loved this friends to lovers human AU! Crowley and Aziraphale work at the same webzine, are friends and are secretly pining for each other. Just the right amount of miscommunication and very low angst, this story is so sweet and heartwarming!
Not A Thirst Trap But An Oasis, by LexArturo, scullyphile. Rated M, 4k. P. Jul 24.
Lovely story where Aziraphale and Crowley were school friends who went separate ways and find each other again via Instagram. Featuring trans Aziraphale, genderfluid Crowley, beautiful art, and sweetness.
Ambisexual, by fishey_me. Rated G, 2k. P. Feb 25.
Very sweet human AU where Aziraphale has been pining for Crowley for 20 years.
You Can Stay In My Bed, If You Like, by AppleSeeds. Rated T, 3k. P. Jul 22.
Lovely human AU where Aziraphale and Crowley wake up together in Crowley's bed after Aziraphale's birthday party. Alcohol was involved. And Gabriel. Should they be alarmed? Mortified? Thrilled? Did anything happen? Let's find out while the two roommates snuggle a little closer to each other.

On The Same Page, by Chekhov. Rated E, 117k. P. Sep 20.
Human AU where Aziraphale and Crowley are both writers. Aziraphale writes Christian books, Crowley writes adult books and they help each other out with their writing. Until they have to pretend to be married. This was such a good read, I really couldn't put it down. It's almost exclusively narrated in Aziraphale's POV but the mutual pining is evident and the build up to them resolving their issues is so bittersweet and deep and just lovely. There is a happy ending, don't worry. And the side story will really... aargghh, I won't spoil it for you, just read it.

Warlock
Listen, he just deserves more love, OK? I apologise in advance, but it's very likely that in every fic in this list you'll read the words I am quite partial to Warlock, because, well, I am.
Merry Christmas, Hellspawn, by Libbyfay. Rated G, 4k. P. Dec 21.
Beautiful Warlock’s POV fiction. It's the first Christmas since nanny and brother Francis left without a word, and Warlock feels lonely. He goes to what used to be brother Francis’ shed, goes through the box of Christmas decorations and reminisces about the past, until someone knocks on the door. I am quite partial to the few, precious Warlock’s POV stories, and the author does an excellent job at depicting the pain of an 11 year old and that casual, matter of fact way 11 year olds deal with great pain. This story is delicate, and beautiful and deeper than it might seem.
Real Fire And Brimstone Stuff, by jessykast. Rated G, 5k. P. Aug 19.
I love the rare stories involving Warlock, and those where he is one of the main characters or are told from his POV, are a real treat. In this post season 1 fiction, uni student Warlock has a flatmate who's into occult stuff. Warlock is unaffected by it all, until he sees photos of someone his flatmate says is a demon. Warlock agrees to help summon the demon. Sweet reunion ensues. Lovely and funny.
There Was Never A Dream To Compare, by On1OccasionFork. Rated T, 3k. P, May 25.

Strangers to lovers and meet cute
It could be a chance meeting, a blind date or business that bring them together, but we all know that once they set eyes for each other they'll end up together. But, oh, the fun of reading the path they'll take to get there! Most of the fics I read are very low in angst, and the ones in this list are no different, so just relax and enjoy!
90 Days To Change Your Life (A Wanting You Companion Fic) by SpectrallyDistracted. Rated M, 20k. P. Mar 25.
Oh, I loved this story so much! Human AU that starts with a fantastically self confident ace, cage dancer Aziraphale and a fairly cynical Crowley who goes home with a different woman every week. This is the story of Crowley's journey and is told in his POV; its companion, Wanting You… Is New (which I haven't read yet, but will soon) will tell you Aziraphale's POV. I loved every minute and every aspect of this story: Aziraphale's joy, Crowley’s self discovery, a touch of angst, and the two of them working hard on themselves because being with the other is what matters most. A special mention goes to Bea, whom I thoroughly adored!
My own A Little Lighter, After All, rated T, 3k. P. Jun 25.
Little human AU where Crowley and 5 year old Warlock move to Tadfield. As a new single parent figure, Crowley is resigned to the idea that there isn’t any space for romantic love in his life. Enter the local bookseller.
Free Wheelin, by theRavenMuse. Rated T, 783 words. P. Jun 25.
Hilarious crack fiction where Crowley takes part in the Cooper’s Hill Cheese-Rolling and Wake and Aziraphale is a paramedic. They are adorable.
Ear Plugs And Ever After, by Siobhans_world. Rated E,13k. P. Jun 25.
Human AU where Crowley, recently divorced, and Aziraphale meet at a metal concert. Crowley taking his vulnerability seriously is very cute and Aziraphale being self confident and caring is, as always, lovely.
Infernal Escapes, by journeytogallifrey. Rated T, 37 k. P. Jan 22.
Human AU where Crowley works at an escape room company. Aziraphale has always wanted to try escape rooms and finally does. You will have to read it to know the rest but this was such a lovely story, very low angst and a happy ending. I believed I did squeal in excitement at the nod to the whovians in the Roman room chapter.
My own Only Ever Meant For Someone Else, rated T, 9k. P. Dec 24.
mas morning of 2023 he was ready to go home and rest with a cup of tea, a mince pie, and a book after a long night.
Guess who?
This my very first attempt at human AU, and it was great fun to write it without being bound by anything canon. It gave me a chance to play with some feelings and characterisations that I just don’t see in canon, but I like in fiction. I tried to throw in the mix a bit of humour, a tiny bit of short lived angst and, of course a happy ending!
A classic.
The Art Of Being Seen, by cheeseplants. Rated G, 3k. P. Aug 24.
Lovely and sweet strangers to lovers human AU. Aziraphale asks Anathema for advice on how to know whether he’s in love with someone, and Anathema tells him to stare into their eyes for two minutes and he will know. Such a shame that handsome, clever, funny date just won’t take his sunglasses off. Obliviousness in action!

Singers, rockstars and musicians
As a music lovers, I can't believe I haven't read more fics where one or both our Ineffables are musicians or rockstars. Please do add more recs in your reblogs!
Something Good And Right And Real, by foolishlovers. Rated T, 30k. P. Oct 24.
Lovely, delicate human AU where Crowley is a famous singer tired of fame and being on the road. He goes back to his hometown of Tadfield for a break, and there he finds something he thought he had lost forever. This is a story about love, about friendship, about finding a home and about happiness.
The Greater Tadfield Friends Of Music Autumn Concert by CopperBeech. Rated E, 27k. P. Oct 20.
I love how this story communicates all sorts of feelings through a fast, concise, no-nonsense style. Crowley moves to Tadfield and joins the local orchestra. The rest is fiction.
As always, I'm particularly partial to The Them and Warlock making appearances. And I LOVE Zingarelli!

Ghosts
Who doesn't love a spooky story?
Happiness, More Or Less by mllekurtz (TheKnittingJedi). Rated M, 21k. P. May 20.
If you read only one story out of this list, make it this one. This human AU moved me so very much I cried. Crowley moves into his new flat in Soho, only to discover the flat is haunted by the ghost of the owner of the bookshop downstairs. I won't tell anything else about the plot other than it does have a very sweet happy ending, and it gets there via a rollercoaster of emotions. This is really one of those fictions that leave me in awe of the fandom's talent and creativity. Read it, read it, read it!
Ghost, by AppleSeeds, rated T, 5k.(Mar 25)
Human AU. Crowley seems to have a ghost in his flat who takes care of him by preparing relaxing hot baths and providing nice meals. Don't worry, though, this is fiction, and AppleSeeds fiction at that. Happy ending guaranteed.

1941
If there is one thing that almost everyone in the fandom agrees on, is that, no matter what else happens in the finale, we need a 1941 part 3. These are some of takes of what might have happened after the candlelight dinner, and I'm sure there will be many additions in the reblogs, so make sure to check them!
If You Could Just Stay A Little Longer, by Crowleysgirl56. Rated T, 4k. P. Jun 25.
An interesting take on what went on between our Ineffables in 1941, and why they didn't talk again until 1967.
We Keep Love In A Photograph, by itsscottiesstark. Rated G, 2k. P. Jun 24.
A very sweet and credible account of what might have happened next on that night in 1941, and what Aziraphale and Crowley's thoughts might have been.
They Almost Made A Miracle (1941), by Koala2all. Rated E, 4k. P. Feb 24.
Lovey take on what happened at the bookshop after the magic trick.
CATastrophy, by Savyl (Aerenii). Rated T, 8k. P. Mar 25.
This is a very original, adorable Ava furry take on 1941 part 3! Look, I'm not even a cat person, but I loved this story! Did you know that Mrs Henderson was a witch??

E rated one-shot human AUs
Don't you love it how talented, and determined, our fandom is to fit delicious, sexy, tender, hot smut into just a few thousands words? Me too.
Conveniently Inconvenienced, by LCwrites. Rated E, 5k. P. Sep 24.
Funny, light-hearted and very hot human AU featuring a very self confident Aziraphale. It's a treat.
The Co-Pilot, by beardo. Rated E, 4k. P. May 24.
Incredibly hot human AU. Eh, I say human AU… incredibly hot AU. Tony is attracted to Az, but is afraid of acting on it because of what the author describes as an ‘overfamiliar demon’ who sometimes took the wheel for a minute. So he's content to just chat to Az at the pub. Yeah, like Az is ever going to shy away from an encounter with Crowley's inner demon.
Presque Vu, by NaroMoreau. Rated E, 9k. P. Dec 22.
Human AU. College student Aziraphale sees his ex Gabriel at a party he didn't want to go to to begin with, so of course he hides in the kitchen. Until his (and everybody's) impossible crush offers to pose as his boyfriend. This story is incredibly lovely and heartwarming!
To Bind Them, by LCwrites. Rated E, 5k. P. Feb 24.
Human AU with a lovely enchanted/supernatural/faerie element. Aziraphale is tipsy at Anathema’s Halloween party and when he overhears Crowley talking on the phone he wants to find out what he's up to. But that's not even half of it.

Inspired by or connected to a film.
I just came cross the fictions in this list by, you know, reading fiction. I'm probably not the biggest movie fan. But it just so happens that these gorgeous fictions are inspired or connected to films, and I'm sure there will be many more in the reblogs! (Plus, at the time of writing I'm reading a WIP also inspired by a film, so watch this space for updates!)
Happiness, More Or Less by mllekurtz (TheKnittingJedi). Rated M, 21k. P. May 20. (Inspired by Just Like Heaven, 2005).
Planes, Trains & The Apocalypse, by walking_contradiction42. Rated T, 32k. P. Dec 21. (Inspired by Planes, Trains And Automobiles, 1987).
Human AU where Crowley and Aziraphale meet on a plane on their way to Tadfield (via London) for Christmas. Crowley can't stand Aziraphale and only wants as uneventful a journey home as possible. Ha!
The Angel’s Gambit, by Augenblickglotte, Dragonfire42 , rated T, 9k. P. Nov. 24. (Inspired by The Seventh Seal, 1957).
Aziraphale has been playing chess with the angel of Death for over 1500 years. You'll have to read it to find out why. I loved the banter between Aziraphale and Azrael.

OUTSIDERS POVS
Funny and light-hearted, or deep and insightful, outsiders and third party POVs are always so much fun to read! How do strangers see our Ineffables?
Let Me Be Empty: A Prologue, by Koala2all. Rated E, 4k. P. May 25.
High angst fiction but with elements of tenderness that pop up unexpectedly. Crowley is missing Aziraphale and decides to turn to Lucifer for comfort. The fic is narrated in Lucifer’s POV and does not have a Crowley and Aziraphale happy ending. It's beautiful, but please read the tags.
A Convoluted Conspiracy - A GOAD Writers Guild Word Of The Day Fic, by SazzyLJ. Rated T, 3K.
Incredibly funny post S2 fiction, told partly in Muriel’s, partly in Eric’s POV. The demon Eric is up to something, and Muriel is determined to find out what. I don’t want to spoil it, so I won't tell what the bottomline of this story is, and what I loved most about it, but it’s extremely dear to me and to my headcanon.
Stargazer by Raechem. Rated G, 2k. P. Dec 24.
Oh, I loved this story, I truly did. So gentle, touching, and deep. Set at some point in the past, OC’s POV. OC helps a snake she finds in her garden that had been caught in some rope. The snake comes to visit her again, and an owl comes looking for the snake. I don’t want to spoil it and won’t say anything else, but please show some love to this gem of a fiction.
Demon Summoning Is More Fun With Friends, by little_mx_sunflower. Rated G, 7k. P. Mar 25.
Mostly told from an outsider’s POV, this story was so much fun to read. Crowley gets summoned, and Aziraphale goes with him. They have fun with the summoners. Light-hearted fic, but with a deep, unshakable sense of connection between our Ineffables, I loved it.
Our Homeward Steps Were Just As Light, by On1OccasionFork. Rated T, 7k. P. May 24.
I've seen this little gem recommended a lot recently, and with very good reason! Human AU where Pepper works in a nursing home. Anthony is a beloved guest prone to causing trouble, Aziraphale is a new guest. It's tender, deep, funny and original. Stirs things in you, a fiction like that. I loved it. Extra points for being in Pepper’s POV.
Series:
Whickber Street Traders And Shopkeepers Association Daily Observations, by WaitingToBeBroken. Total series words 26k. P. Dec 23.
This series was incredibly funny and entertaining! The shopkeepers of Whickber street come up with their theories about the mysterious friend of the bookseller. Each story of the series is told from one of the shopkeepers' POV. The last story is Crowley setting the records straight and it only makes sense if read last, but the order you read the others doesn't matter. The last story is also the one dearest to my heart in the whole series. Prepare to fall in love with Mutt.

Teachers and professors AUs.
What it says on the title. For more recs on thus theme please visit one of the blogs I suggest in my pinned post, and always check the reblogs in all my posts as other fiction readers keep adding excellent recs of fics I haven't read!
Mon Horrible Chéri, by ghostrat. Rated E. P. Niv 23.
I do have a soft spot for enemies-to-lovers AU. This one doesn't disappoint one bit. Crowley and Aziraphale teach science and literature in the same high school and they hate each other (aw... how cute are they when they hate each other whilst being attracted to each other?). When Beelzebub is injured just before the school trip to Paris, Aziraphale has to step in to replace them. When he agreed he didn't know that the other teacher accompanying the children was Crowley. Everything you're looking for in a sweet, funny, romantic enemies to lovers fiction ensues. Highly, highly recommended.
Keep It Casual, by Kiez21. Rated E, 46k. P. Jan 24.
Crowley has just moved to Tadfield with his nephew Warlock. He has a one night stand with a handsome stranger. The day after he goes to meet Warlock’s new teacher. Yes, you guessed right.
The Shared Desk Dilemma, by MissUnderstoodLyrics. Rated E, 32k. P. Feb 24.
Fantastic enemies to lovers human AU. This is one of those stories I read a long time ago (you probably did, too), and I still remember all the feels and the giggles it gave me. Professor Anthony Crowley is starting a new job at Eden University. He has to share an office and a desk with Professor Aziraphale Eastgate. Of course the two men can't stand each other. Sexual tension and deep feelings ensue.
