Summary:

Crowley's new coworker looks like an angel and has the inane ability to take every pickup line too literally. It doesn't stop Crowley from trying to flirt with him, even though he can barely string a coherent sentence together while in Aziraphale's presence. Somehow... it still works?

Excerpt:

So Crowley googled more pickup lines. And hoped for the best. "Angel, if you were words on a page, you’d be fine print,” he said one day, while Aziraphale squinted at his tiny spreadsheet. He had shown him how to zoom in a number of times and yet, the angel insisted he liked this better since he could, and this was a quote, "See all the numbers together." What a weird man. Crowley was starting to adore him. "Frustrating and designed to deceive?" Aziraphale responded absentmindedly. His fingers had not stopped tapping on his calculator. Crowley found it unfairly hot. Both the words and the nonchalance with which they had been uttered. He laughed. Then went to make the angel some tea because he hadn't had any all day.

Want an AMAZING Good Omens fanfic?

I cannot recommend Communicatio in Sacris by the astonishingly talented @voluptatiscausa highly enough. I’ve read it at least 4 times.

Catholic shame, guilt and homophobia expunged via beautiful poetry and achingly gentle sex.

treating good omens human aus like a bingo card because im always wondering what the reason for crowley calling aziraphale "angel" will be. like will it be because aziraphale's hair looks like a halo in the sun? will it be aziraphale protecting crowley and crowley crowning aziraphale his guardian angel status? will it be aziraphale acting like an absolute sweetheart and prompting crowley to call him an angel? or is it just be that aziraphale's name sounds like it'd belong to an angel/does belong to an angel in the au? who knows!!!

Dante ought to rewrite the circles of hell, because nothing could compare to this. Pure unfiltered dread filled Crowley’s chest when he saw Aziraphale and his husband walking into The Ritz. It was no small mercy that he didn’t have Aziraphale’s table that night, but seeing him and Gabriel dining from across the restaurant was torture enough. He couldn’t tears his eyes away. Ten car pile-ups had nothing on them, on the touch of their hands and the smile Aziraphale just couldn’t keep off his face. He watched like a hawk, insatiably curious about every little touch, while searching for anything that might quell the nausea in his stomach.
