Human Minimus and Magnus. This design process was in all honesty, incredibly grueling. The Minimus design came easy, though Magnus was difficult to piece together. I wanted to make him an actual suit of armor, but i feel as though that would be a dead give away to the other LL crew members that there is most likely someone in the armor rather than an actual individual. So I landed on a hologram. RIP Magnus armor.

He is my baby and i love him.

i dont know if this is controversial...but im obsessed with dratchet in the way that im more obsessed with why ratchet is in love with drift. like its very obvious and clear why drift loves ratchet, and in general drift is very easy to love. he's popular for a reason. but for ratchet-it's more interesting to see his angle and what makes him tick. especially when you look back at how they started and how much ratchet was annoyed by him. and so much dratchet content is in drift's pov, i feel like screaming WHAT ABOUT RATCHET

what made him say that drift was special when they first met? it doesn't seem like something he'd say to every patient in the clinic, i mean there's a reason he's called the hatchet and why people say his bedside manner is atrocious. it can't just be because drift is hot. his belief system directly goes against ratchet's and drift is pretty loud about it. and yet. ratchet is the only one who went out to find drift after his exile from the lost light. he made the effort to compromise on all the primus talk from drift.

i feel like part of it is that drift is hard to dislike. he is a pretty genuine person whose trying his best. and he can match ratchet's energy pretty effortlessly so that's a solid plus. and the attractiveness obviously. in general, i feel like drift is disarming. like he's not as stupid as people see him as and i feel like a lot of his behavior is purposeful to be less threatening as the ex decepticon (can't remember if that's said in canon or not bear with me this is word vomit) but because of that purposeful choice to portray himself that way, i think it works to lower people's guard. i dont remember ratchet ever being all that up in arms about drift being ex con so i wouldn't say that it works for ratchet, but either way he did get through his defenses. probably because he's willing to argue in a way that others arent.

drift is pretty devoted to throwing himself into danger for ratchet too which i think ratchet has a love/hate relationship with. he's always telling drift to stop, but he's also like. the only person willing to go that far for ratchet specifically. like ratchet is depended on heavily, but at the same time he doesn't seem all that close to anyone after getting on the lost light. feels like a swerve situation honestly like how well were they functioning without him? and if they were fine, i feel it proves the point even more that while ratchet was depended on, he wasn't really needed. and then enter drift who makes it clear that ratchet's safety and by proxy ratchet as a person outside of his skill as a medic is important to him, at the risk of drifts own safety even. so i think that would mean something to ratchet.

and they do play off each other well, theyre very comfortable. i feel like ratchet has more time to relax or seems less stressed when drifts around as he offers a distraction from his work. which ratchet arguably needs desperately. it is all he does. and he has to have a life outside of work and drift can give him that. he can have fun. not take things so seriously. i feel like even their banter back and forth and arguing was something new added to ratchets life and he kind of appreciates it as time goes on.

i have forgotten the point of this post, i ended up just rambling about dratchet. but anyway those are my dratchet vibes or headcanons or thoughts or whatever from ratchet's pov

Seeing as the monster hunter au by @keferon is the only reason I’m on this site it makes sense it’s my first post.

I remember stumbling upon it sometime last year and telling myself that I’d never touch Tumblr after I finished. But here I am today after rereading it + the spellbound and mimic au’s. This magical little world has completely overrun my brain.

Can’t find where you mentioned not knowing why they’d be wearing clothes while I’d just taken Wing’s “keeps off the dust” to heart. Then it just kinda spiraled out into just another thing to separate civil mechs from monsters. Obviously monsters are too stupid to figure out such an advanced technology.
