a morning with bf!sungho

your eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the bright morning sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains of your bedroom, as you felt gentle caresses smoothing the baby hairs away from your face.

you’re greeted with the view of your boyfriend, sungho, gazing at you dreamily, propped up on his elbow to get a better look at you. his hair was slightly messy due to shifting slightly in his sleep, and his eyes sparkled with his love for you.

“good morning sweet angel”, he said softly, all the while still stroking your face, almost sending you back to sleep.

“good morning babe, especially since i get to wake up to this view”, you giggled.

“right, you’re actually so lucky, y/n”, sungho smirked, as you rolled your eyes in feigned irritation.

“but enough about how gorgeous i am…”, he continued, “what do you want to do today, seeing as though we both finally have a day off together. i was thinking we could go to that park you’ve been wanting to visit, and have a picnic under the cherry blossoms. you know, something cheesy and romantic, like in the movies?”

“it may be cheesy, but it sounds perfect,” you answered, grinning as you pictured your day together. “having said that…i do just want to lay right here with you for a bit longer.”

“i think that can be arranged,” replied sungho, leaning into your warmth. now it was your turn to brush the hair from sungho’s face as he leaned over you, gradually moving your hands down to the back his neck to pull him into a sweet kiss. you didn’t have to worry about morning breath, or your bare face when you were with sungho; he loved you in all of your forms. all you had to think about was the feeling of your lips moving against his, as you held each other close to one another, not an atom left between you. as you both pulled away, you basked in each other’s presence, foreheads pressed against one another. you felt his warm breath on your face, as you peered into his deep brown eyes, realising this is where you want to be forever; in his arms.

sungho shifted onto his side pulling you into his chest, your breath tickling his neck slightly, as he circled his arm around your waist. you peeked up at him, tangling your legs with his, “i love more than the amount of stars in the sky.”

“well then my love for you is larger than the whole universe.” you both giggled at your stupidly saccharine confessions, as your eyes slowly blinked shut again, eventually being lulled back to sleep by sungho’s steady heartbeat against your ear.

a/n- hiiiii! i have written anything in literal years, but i really really want to start writing regularly again, so here’s a little something short. i was randomly inspired to write about mornings with sungho, because i just think it’s such a cute concept that fits him perfectly. it’s good to be back writing again! having said that, this is literal shit from a butt, so i apologise for my rusty skills 😭
