Fences....Why get one or upgrade?

  First of all a fence is for privacy(obviously). If you don't want people looking at you a fence is the way to go. Of course you could plant trees or bushes for privacy but why do that when a fence is the way to go. We all love our pets and fences are the best way to keep pets safe and close to your house! Curb appeal is another reason for a fence. The entire look of your house can drastically change with a fence for the better.  Privacy AND Curb Appeal Types of fences Privacy AND Curb Appeal Here is a fence we just installed. It combines excellent curb appeal and privacy. A fence can make a HUGE difference on how your house looks. This is a fence project that we completed at Gresham Construction.  

BEFORE

This is what the fence looked like before. Notice that it has a little bit of privacy(very little ha) and not exactly much curb appeal. The fence is struggling to say the least. 

  AFTER

This is the same yard with the same house and the same yard. We landscaped the trees and replaced the existing fence with a new shiny fence. There are clean lines now separating the different structures. It looks MUCH BETTER and the client was happy :)

  TYPES OF FENCES If you are thinking about fences the following are examples of different types of fences. Each has a different look and functionality.    Wood - Wood fences are a classic look with different styles available.

Vinyl and Composite - Vinyl fences offer minimum maintenance and maximum durability.

Chain Length - Chain length fences have long lifespan and minimum maintenance.

Aluminum  - Aluminum fences are low maintenance and can be made to look like other fence types.

Wrought Iron - Wrought iron fences are beautiful but do require more maintenance than other fence types.

Electric - Electric fences are made to keep animals out by either underground or above ground.   Farm - Farm fences are made to keep livestock in but can also be decorative.
