Hey! How are you doing?

I NEVER SAW THESE ANON QUESTIONS!! I have no clue when these got sent, but thank you for checking in :DDDDD.

I’m doing ok, first year of college is definitely ✨new✨ in both good and bad ways. I started back in September/August, and so that might be my last known appearance on here 😭 so I can see the concern. It’s just such a different social landscape to navigate. Academically, I’ve been able to hold my own but with all the clubs on campus, coping with dorm life, and finding a balance between escaping and finding my own privacy and going out and being proactive to socialize is a LOT to learn in a month.

With everything in my control, I’ve been doing ok. I think I’ve struck an ok balance between socializing and privacy so far, but I’m not used to “living at school”. Dorming, I constantly see people workin or doing something or socializing so I always feel like I have to be “on” 24/7. I almost overloaded my schedule already and I’ve only been “in class” for 2 weeks 😭. I just need to know when to take me time and when to take work time. It’s hard to be doing nothing in college man. Everything happening everyday kinda makes ya feel like ya gotta do everything every second. Yknow? But I think I’ll be able to cope better soon. Just opening up tumblr and drawing a lil bit today (aka rn) has already made me feel 100x better. I hope I’ll be better with all this soon. I’m pretty optimistic rn, so we’ll see.

Sorry for the mini rant. I just wanted to kinda figure out my thoughts with words yknow? And might as well let yall know here my head’s at. Genuinely overall, I’m not in like DEEP depression rn. I’m just figuring everything out, but I’m optimistic.

College has started up for me and people were NOT lying about the “adjustment period”. It’s definitely a learning curve and my mental health has been fluctuating so much. I haven’t forgotten abt this blog tho or @ask-corrupted-sticks . I want to get back to interacting with yall again!!! I really miss it, and honestly, I need it. Going back to tumblr-ing kinda gives me that “home away from home” feeling while I’m dormed up over here.
