i wish people would tell me a lot more specifically than

'you crossed serious boundaries after being told to stop'

when i literally cannot remember being told to stop. i was called out for ONE THING specifically. and immediately after being told, i stepped away from the subject permanently. i am ACTUALLY autistic. if you don't apecifically call me out and go 'hey, that isn't cool with me', i am not going to pick up on your social cues or subtle hints. ESPECIALLY when it is over the internet and ZERO in person interactions.

my latest situation that i fucked up has me so confused that i am now questioning my REAL LIFE relationships. god, i wish i were a normal person. life would be so much easier. i hate having such a mild neurodivergence. like, for the most part, i walk, talk and act like any neurotypical but when it comes down to microexpressions or verbal allusions, i miss things so easily. i don't mean to at all, i just don't know how to properly interpret them or even how to recognize that they exist.

it sucks so bad because i did ruin a good thing and except for one specific interaction where even i quickly realized i fucked up and stepped back, i didn't notice anything else. and i am sorry. i wish i had. i wish i understood.

i just think that dan howell is a weak weak fucking man for those big pleading eyes and he will never outright admit it cause reasons, but his favourite colour is not black it's blue, his favourite sound is far from obscure music cause it's the way he makes phil burst out laughing at the stupidest shit, his favourite food is not an advent calendar of dips it's any meal he gets to share with his best friend even if it's cheese-soup-mushroom-olive-tomato-taste-less, his favourite memories don't include anything before his eighteenth birthday, his comfort place is not a sofa crease but the bony shoulder he's been leaning on for over a decade, his favourite smell is not the hundreds of scented candles he's burnt through the years but the only sweet sugary thing his sweet-tooth-less ass can handle

dan howell is a weak man with a crumbling will to put up a facade and i've been loving seeing that wall go down faster than ever in the past year

why would dan think you're gross?

okay! i decided to answer this because i got called out.

1) in no way do i actually think Dan would think i'm gross. it just looks that way in a millisecond of time because the picture is a screengrab.

2) i said it because when i first saw it, i had a very negative visceral reaction to my own back view. my pants in particular look horrid on my bum.

3) i actually have a pretty positive view on my front half, which he would have been seeing.

4) i was really just taking his face in that moment and my feelings on my backside and smushing them together.

5) totally unrelated but my hair looked SOO good

this whole post is killing me. as someone who knows who both sets of people are, i don't understand how you can't know both. however, i have found a large number of people don't know Dan and Phil. doesn't mean they aren't way better than J2. like an earlier tag added, they are actually in love, so i'd vote for them anyday.
