This is the dialogue animation I did. I had a more ambitious idea, but at least I shortened it to the beginning portion. I think it will be really cool to try animating the whole script I wrote out later on. Finals week is really rough, but I’m glad to end a great semester with this animation.

Paul’s Walk Cycle. Not very good, but good practice, I’ll say.

Manu attempts and fails to lift cheese. Very stiff for a first time animating lots of things in this, but work in progress. Getting the hang of Harmony as I go.

Just wanted to say, I’m learning Harmony recently the more I play with it. I’m enjoying just making art with it. It may be crazy, but I’m sort of playing with what I can and can’t do with the program.

I forgot to upload this. This is Manu’s second model sheet, based on his design when he is sent to the future to help his brother from messing up things. Well, if anything, EA and Trump would get into a big dispute, but other than that, I doubt EA is smart enough to do anything that crazy. But the gods were concerned, at least.

I’m starting to think I was a bit ambitious with the next project after finishing this model sheet for Pharaoh Manu. At least it’s not his brother I decided to animate, otherwise he’d fight me the entire way.

Not sure if I uploaded this... but I was playing around with gestures for my TheKota Dance animation with this.

I re-colored my Head Turn. It was bothering me how off it was.

This probably doesn’t make much sense to you, but I was figuring out key poses for TheKota Dance.

TheKota Dance
Okay, so long story short, I needed an excuse to record Kota doing this ridiculously adorable dance he did so I could attempt to animate it (and failed). I sorta butchered it, but here it is. I enjoyed the process of animating in this project. It was challenging to get the key poses right.

Reference material for my animation. Thanks to TheKota! :D Love ya, bruh, but fuck you. This dance is challenging me to the point I have to do key poses to figure out how it works.

Realization in Working
Working on these animations has given me the passion and inspiration to really realize this is what I want to do. What I do in Harmony, I enjoy creating and learning more about animation as I go. It’s interesting to see my ideas come to life for the first time in the digital world. I’ve sort of decided after working today that this is something I am passionate about and this is what I want to set out to do from here on out. If I can’t animate, then chop off my hands, so to speak. Anyway, I’ll be uploading the progress I’ve made with the Flour Sack project. It’s coming along great, and I’m pushing 100 frames so far. Really pumped to keep working.

This is my Pendulum project, starring Alice Ashley Chem. (Alice: You’re fucking welcome, bitch. Like, totally!) Shesh, he was so difficult to animate, but I am so proud of how this came out. I’m really trying to challenge myself when I do these projects and not just make shit easy for me. I hope it’s amazing enough.

Alvetta’s Bouncing Ball Refined [Silent Film]
I reanimated the ball so it looks better and animated her arm better. I think it flows much nicer. I’m proud of this.

Alvetta’s Bouncing Ball [Silent Film] I created this in Harmony Premium 2018. I used my Sims 4 character and drew her bouncing a ball, and it jumps over her moving box “of things”. In her modern apartment space, I made a nice modern window in the background. I was so proud of how this came out. I wanted to keep going crazy and animate a lot more, but for the assignment, I did this bit to not get too carried away.
