Why do people have to point out him being white to make the book seam racist? Can people not understand that this book is LITERALLY ABOUT ETHAN? Of course I saved Ginny, because I love that sweet little girl, and teh scene was sooo worth it! Edward getting so mad at the MC for risking her life, Ginny yelling at Edward in defence of MC and then Edward admitting that he can’t bear the idea of teh MC getting hurt and using her name...

I actually love that he usually calls her “miss” becasue that makes the occasional use of the first name mean so much more and it shows the longing and depth of feeling that is building.

That diamond scene is sliding Edward slightly ahead of Charlie for my heart, not gonna lie.

Distant Shores has the most likable characters. I'm fond of every crew member, they all are such interesting, sweet people and it's fascinating to see them interacting with each other. The MC is so much fun too! I'll be heartbroken if the book turns out to be a standalone💔

I was born with unfortunate amount of rare genetic illnesses and gathered some comorbid ones on my way through teen years.

Right now I hope to live 7, maybe 10 years. I do have a chance for more if I’m lucky and in good care, and I’m desperate to live as long as I can.

I’m a full time wheelchair user and I also have to use oxygen generator.

In December I moved out to rented flat with my sister. It’s much more accessible and life is much easier now, especially considering our abusive parents. But money is tight and with COVID pandemic it’s even worse.

Long term I’m trying to raise enough to upgrade my oxygen generator so I can get my oxygen as prescribed - one I use now is too weak and only helps some and still leaves me with hypoxia symptoms at times.

But short term,being immunocompromised during the pandemic, I need help with expenses like groceries delivery, oxygen cannulas (they got much more expensive now, and harder to get) and meds.

now that it's canon that bryce cant cook did you change your headcanons for your mc? since she couldn't cook

NEVER! Vic can’t cook, which is hilarious because the last chapter was just her and Bryce clowning like “DO YOU KNOW HOW TO COOK?” “BITCH NO I WAS HOPING YOU COULD!” and they looked for online recipes while Keiki laughed at them,,, they were so proud of their stupid pasta lmfao I’m proud of them for not burning the house down.

But it’s true, I had to change some of my headcanons because of the new information… basically, instead of Bryce already knowing how to cook, this is what’s gonna happen: none of them would survive the winter without take-out, but when they eventually move in together Vic decides she’s gonna learn how to cook. And she tries, she tries really hard. But like I said, she’s a goddamn menace. The food she makes is not edible + she turns everything into a fire hazard. Problem is, she thinks she’s good at it. That’s when Bryce decides to learn the basics. As it turns out, he’s a natural!

So yeah instead of Bryce already being a good cook I give you: Bryce watching the food network for hours and experimenting with recipes until he gets good at it because he doesn’t have the heart to tell his girlfriend that she’s a terrible cook. It’s quite easy because he looks so good in the kitchen so she can’t really complain, plus he eventually starts to enjoy it.
