I think Holgunn One-Eye could be with the Pact, given his relationship with Walks-in-Ash as well as his participation in Coldharbour. Maybe Heita-Meen or Thane Mera? They seem less likely but it'd be a chance to bring back those old characters and do more with them.

Cariel would be a good returning face from the Dominion, its been a while since we last saw her (last mention was Raz namedropping her in Galen iirc). Alternatively we could see Gathwen again as she took part in the assault on Coldharbour and was an early Dominion face.

As for the Covenant, another option besides General Gautier would be Alinon. We've not seen him since Wrothgar and he'd want to see Darien again. Maybe even help us determine what's really going on with the Gift of Death and how it brought him back.

so. who do we think is gonna show up with the alliances in part 2? I had my doubts about the Alliance leaders returning in High Isle and we got 2/3, so it's not impossible that Ayrenn, Jorunn and Emeric could show up and decide that, unlike last time, they are going to join forces and combat the Worm Cult and Planemeld together.

I personally want General Gautier to show up with the Covenant because 1. we actually need to see father and son together for once. and 2. we need answers on what his and Darien's whole deal is and how much he knows about Darien's Darien-ness

also Lyris is probably going to be a no show on account of Jennifer Hale being unavailable, which makes me sad because she and Sai deserve to kick Mannimarco in the shins again :(
