The Fool

I’ve decided that I’m starting a series of the Major Arcana of tarot as ghost characters so we’re kicking it off with Frater Imperator as The Fool

I wanted to give the vibe of him sitting in an empty theatre/arena audience staring longingly at the stage that was taken away from him

He’s the fool that stole the spotlight away from someone while thinking the same would never happen to him

Azra grew up on the streets after her parents were killed and learned to defend themself by being unsettling and unwilling to back down no matter how hurt she was. They spent their whole life in fear that someone would turn her into a weapon because of her magic and when it finally happened she killed everyone involved vowing to never let themself be used again

Evie grew up with an abusive father who physically and emotionally beat her and her mother. When her and her mom finally found the courage to leave, her father came home early before they could escape and in the fight that ensued, he killed her mom. Enraged and grieving, Evie grabbed her father’s shotgun and killed him in retribution for what he did to her mother.

Azra’s records got erased when she was kidnapped to be experimented on so they essentially became a ghost and picked up a nomadic lifestyle and Evie’s case was ruled to be self defense but the small town gossip drove her to move away which eventually caused their paths to cross

Couldn't decide if I like the lighter or darker Version so just have both, I guess xD

Little HC/explanation about Phantom's right eye under the cut :3

During Phantoms Summoning something went wrong and he ended up losing sight on his right eye.

With the help of his Quintessence Phantom still is able to see. However, because of that his pupil was replaced with the Quintessence Symbol, leaving him with a rather unique look, even for a Ghoul.

Since Phantom constantly has to use and redirect part of his Quintessence to his eye, he's weaker than the usual Quintessence Ghoul Power-wise though.

That doesn't stop him from causing mischief while simultaneously giving his best :3c <3

My ghoul designs!! These took so long, but I had so much fun doing them. Cumulus, Cirrus, and Aether in particular look exactly how i imagine them in my head. They're the ones I'm the most proud of <3 (Close ups under the cut)

Not at all meant to portray the people behind the ghouls! These designs are of purely just the characters. They also might change as I draw them (already thinking about adding stars to Haze like Aurora has lol)

I tried to get this posted last night and did notes for all of the designs, but I accidentally deleted it, and I am NOT writing that all out again 💔
