Ulqui dislikes using them unless he absolutely has to. He doesn't like having really anything pressing on his ears or in his ears.

This is the kind of guy that walks around with a little bluetooth speaker for his music or other audio entertainment.

Ulqui has very little concept of gender as a thing, he knows the male + female = spawn in the anatomy of humans. But he himself doesn’t think of himself as male or female.

If asked about his gender, all he’ll say ;

"Hey, bat brain... you ever wonder why we are here?" He was bet he'd never ask Ulquiorra. Well... had to take such a bet didn't he? It's not like he was asking the bastard for help.

The question confused him, why was the glorified trash panda asking him of all people? He’d give him the minimal points he could for the creative spin on the title he was given.  “Why we are here?” He hummed, mulling it over, dragging it out for his own amusement. Seeing such a proud figure come to him was the highlight of his day by far. 

“Because someone clearly wants us to suffer.”
