My first contribution to the F1 fandom, this is the stupidest thing i've drawn so far, but it was born as a meme while me and my friend were chatting about a book we read. (I swear i also draw normal stuff)

deep down Alain DID want new chances with Senna (regardless of what his intention was at the moment), something any other driver would have given up on a long time ago, even if just to try to fix their image. Everyone here knows this was ONE OF the times he tried something with Ayrton, starting from that awkward handshake and even after Suzuka.

(And let’s not forget that even with all of Ayrton’s annoyance toward him, Alain didn’t hold back on the compliments in that GP before Suzuka.)

But my opinion: he was really stupid to try so hard, because we’re not talking about reconciling with just any good-hearted or politically savvy driver like him, we’re dealing with AYRTON SENNA in this room. THAT is a completely different thing

Alain (basically) said that he went to Ron and Ayrton (for kinda reconciliation) because the new season started they should fight with the best sporting spirit, but Aryton refused to shake his hand. So he gave up on the idea of them shaking hands in front of the Brazilian fans (at the upcoming Brazilian gp)

I think that podium with Alain, Lauda, and Senna at Zandvoort in ’85 is so cute. Senna was kind of left out of the celebrations because Prost and Lauda were on the same team and were all celebrating together, but when it came to the champagne, Lauda turned to joke around with Ayrton, and Ayrton quickly broke into a big smile.
