this is usually a knox hate page....but

It'd taken one sentence to get knox Overstreet to fall head over heels for you.

He could swear your voice was honey. When he turned around to hand it to you,he lost his mind. You were pure perfection. And he was hooked.

He sat next to you in every class,took a longer route to class just to get a glimpse of you.

He learned your name from begging your roomates for it. And when he learnt it,he repeated it,over and over and over.

It came as no suprise to the rest of the dead poets when he'd stood up in the front of mr.keatings class and read a poem he'd dedicated to you,of course you had no idea.

He walked back to his desk with his head down and a million thoughts in his head about how stupid an idea that was.

Charlie teased him and cameron rolled his eyes.god why did he do that?

"i thought that was lovely." a voice behind him said in a whisper loud enough for only him to hear.

His head did a quick turn giving him whiplash. His hand went up to hold his neck as you laughed. And he treasured the sound of it. It didnt matter that he was in slight pain because it earned your laugh.

"you think?" he asked,his eyes searching for sincerity

"yeah." you smiled " whoever you wrote that for is real lucky. "

Sweat dripped down Lucas’s brow as the ball bounced off the ground. To him, it was the perfect shot, and his form was perfect! But to a certain Mr. Billy Hargrove…

It was shit

He was pulling into the driveway when he saw Lucas, not surprised he was here, probably waiting for Max.

Lighting a cig as he got out, Billy watched the boy miss his shot. He seemed he had been going at it for awhile, considering the amount of sweat he was drenched in. “Damn it!” Lucas yelled.

Billy sighed, he remembered that feeling. The feeling of wanting to give up but wanting to prove something to someone or perhaps, prove it too yourself. He sighed and spoke up… “Hey- hey kid! You need some help?”

Despite his past with Billy, he thought their relationship to be quite cordial. There were waves here and there and some small conversations. However, Lucas was still slightly stunned to have heard Billy’s voice.

Lucas nodded softly. Billy nodded as well, took a drag and walked over. He grabbed the deserted ball off the ground, walking to Lucas. “Sinclair, I hate to break it to you but, your form is off kid, way off. How about you try wiping some of that sweat off your eyes so you can see?” He handed him a napkin from his jacket.

Lucas obliged and cleared his eyes of sweat. “Better?” “Yea.” Lucas murmured. Looking at Billy as he handed the ball to him, Lucas got back into his original position. “Ok kid here-“ Billy got into the correct stance, showing the boy. Lucas copied it right after.

“Good. Now all you have to do is line up and actually get it in the hoop!” Billy laughed, only teasing him. “Oh yea sure sure.” Lucas chuckled, rolling his eyes.

“Alright, alright. Shoot amigo!” Lucas obliged and half expected to see the ball, yet again, go on the ground. However, that didn’t happen. It went straight in… “it went straight in.” Lucas whispered, slightly in awe. “See kid.” Billy shrugged.

He was getting ready to turn away when Lucas decided to be brave and ask- “Hey um, Billy! You wanna play another game? You don’t have to-“ “Why not Sinclair. I’ll show you how to game really works.” He took a drag, smirking.

Lucas was never on the bench again.
