I made an exciting discovery today...

I didn't realise that svg files could be edited like a regular text file. This means you can replace all the hex colour codes easily through a script.

I did ALL the images in Cloud Pink UI in Inkscape, so they're all svg files, and the rest are layout files which can be edited in the same way.

This means I can make ANY recolour in about 1 minute.

The recolours wouldn't just be limited to the pink parts either. You could easily recolour the white/grey parts too... so that means dark mode etc is possible.

There are a handful of images where I've applied a colour filter in Inkscape which aren't affected by my current script, but I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it.

So - my plan is to work out how to edit the filters in my script, then hopefully I can build a small tool that will let anyone add the colours they want and export the files (or a package if i can get that to work). So you can personalise your own UI to the exact colours you want! 😍

Here's my first test run doing this for Cloud Purple UI! I will need to edit the shades because some of them came out too dark, but wow I am genuinely shocked that this was so easy.

First of all, news from my server: no, it's still not fixed! It seems the technical assistance lost track of my messages or whatever, but I still can't upload anything to my sites. Technical assistance promises to act promptly, but I have no idea what they mean by "promptly". I'm still reluctant to get a new server at this stage, but I'm afraid it will end that way... Anyway...

I know there is usually people who convert Sentate's and Serenity's whole sets but I couldn't wait and needed these Boots asap, so I took it into my own hands. These have a whooping 35 Presets from the Original (end me), but I also made a Dyeable one, it was hard to pick out certain parts so everything will dye. SKYME SKIN This skin is not perfect, I have corrected the major problems , but some lines have not disappeared, I unfortunately I combined all the .psd’s levels and I can not edit them again …. then I had to leave everything as it is. The skin is called ’ Skyme ’ because it has little to skyrim , and the rest is all mine, apart from the base it is of ephemera … The male body is all of skyrim, apart from the texture of the penis, it is made ​​by me, some particulars are from the base. The face apart from the nose and ears is all done by me, the pores;  they are hand made by me as well as the lips … The woman’s face is a fusion of the base and other details added by me, including the pores. The female body has only skyrim’s breasts , vagina - navel - stomach and butt are created by me, the rest is from the base. It ’s just for young adults and adults. It’s default and non -default , with different shades and custom ramps. The skins are already compressed . I repeat IT’S NOT PERFECT … !  2 more new door styles for the Sims 3. The old shuttered door can be fully recolored except for the doorknob. The old vented metal door comes in 2 variations, one in which the lower vent panel changes color with the door and one variation in which its color remains constant. Files are in Sims3Pack format.
