tag nine people you want to get to know better !!

Colour: My favourite colour is Teal, but over the years I've stopped caring about singular colours and more about complimentary colours. Green and purple. Blue and orange. Yellow and grey. Red and white.
Reading: Currently trying to get through the doorstop that is The Priory of the Orange Tree. This sucker is over 800 pages long with 76 chapters!
Last series: Tiger & Bunny? Haven't really sat down and watched much TV or anime lately. I'm currently replaying all the FFVII games.
Last movie: In cinema - Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (as much as I love this movie i can stop and think how insane this movie could have been if Sam Raimi had no restrictions). On Netflix - The Sea Beast (a beautifully animated pirate movie)
Sweet/Spicy/Savoury: Depends on the food in question but I usually prefer spicy.
Currently working on: Several writing projects. A couple of Cloud centric oneshots (mostly Sefikura and Zakkura) and an eight book series I've been plotting out for the past 2 years. I talk about it all the time on my personal blog and even post commissions I've bought for my characters. It's a sci-fi series about an aquatic alien race with mermaid biology, space pirates, barnacle zombies, atlantean technology and water magic.

eeveeliciousrp:
The angel decided to let it go. He had thought that mortals were taught religion so they knew where they went when they passed on. Maybe things had changed over the millennia since he had last been around humans. That was something else he could ponder on.
“You are very kind, Cloud.”
Sephiroth said softly, eternally appreciative of the human’s act of kindness. He was sure if he had crashed somewhere rural that he would surly perish in his weakened state.
There was an initial flinch when Cloud touched his remaining wing, having not expecting it now that he was tended to, but relaxed and allowed the human to continue. It was odd but did give him a sense of comfort. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying not to focus on the pain he was in.
“That is how our ranks work. Our sole purpose is to protect Heaven from the demons and sinners that wish to destroy the light. If we are unable to do that then there is no point to exist, we are expendable. The Creator and archangels are very strict.”
Cloud wasn’t sure if it was kindness or a moral obligation to care for the creature who he had taken in. Perhaps it was just human nature. Either way rage coiled in his belly at how something so ethereal could so easily be discarded.
“That doesn’t make it right,” he protested and took a calming breath. “I don't understand what you must have gone through, nor do I have time to unpack the implication that Christianity is the one true religion and everything I've known my entire life has been a lie."
Just gonna shove that into the "Future Therapist Session" box.
"It's late, your body has suffered a serious shock and needs rest, and I've got a ton of deliveries to get through tomorrow. You can stay here until you're fully recovered, and we'll figure out where to go from there."
The only problem now was figuring out where Sephiroth was going to sleep. Cloud might own a small independant company but he could barely afford the rundown two bedroom house he was currently living in. The second bedroom was small, clearly intended for a newlywed couple with a baby. Since Cloud didn't have any living relatives or roomates, he turned it into an office space. The livingroom was the biggest room in the house, and thankfully the sofa Tifa helped him acquire at a discount when he first moved in also doubled as a foldout bed.
"Being a delivery boy doesn't pay very well, but you're more than welcome to claim the sofa bed." After showing Sephiroth how to dismantle the cushions, he got a neatly folded pile of blankets from the boiler room and draped them over the transformed bed. The angel was much bigger than Cloud and wouldn't fit any of his clothes, but Cloud went digging through the wardrobe, finding the baggiest sweatpants he owned and a loose enough tanktop that Sephiroth could get his singular wing through.
"There's bottled water and leftovers in the fridge if you want to help yourself," he trailed off, not sure if angels ate mortal food. He stood awkardly at the foot of the staircase, very conscious of the fact he had been in his boxer briefs this whole time and tugged the hem of his t-shirt. “Goodnight Sephiroth."

eeveeliciousrp:
At the question his black feathers bristled with irritation of whether his was an angel or demon. Wasn’t obvious he was an angel? He fell from the sky, not erupted from the ground. Seems this human was all looks and little brains.
“I’m an Angel.” He said but then frowned and looked to the ground. “Well, fallen angel now… I’m more like a human than any divine creature.”
The angel moved to lay down on the couch, just wanting to curl up and hide his remaining wing draped over his body protectively like a blanket. The human didn’t seem to mind his presence, so he could stay here and contemplate what purpose his life had now as he healed. What was the point of existing now? He couldn’t fly and he was banished from heaven. His eyes met the human’s who was still sitting before him still looking bewildered over the whole incident.
“I’m Sephiroth. I was a General in Heaven’s army and we recently had a battle with the forces of Hell. I was defeated in battle and when I returned my brothers attacked me, this is my punishment for being weak…”
“Hey, less than 30 minutes ago I didn't know angels were real until one decided to nose dive into my house,” he bristled, unable to not feel offended.
How was he supposed to know the difference between an angel and a demon anyway? For all, he knew their wings were the same and all those illustrations he saw of red skin, bat wings, forked tails and curved horns were just gross exaggerations.
"Sorry. My name's Cloud's Strife." Shaking his head, Cloud rid himself of those accusing thoughts. Now was not the time to be interogating the injured man curled up on his coach and wrapped up in his one wing like a security blanket.
Settling on the edge of the worn cushion, Cloud raised an uncartain hand. He had already touched the angel while bandaging up his back, but it had been very clinical and detached. This was the first time Cloud was touching him with the intent to comfort. Physical contact with a mortal might not soothe the angel but he hoped the symbolic gesture would be enough to comfort him, so with only slight hesitancy he lightly stroked the rumpled black feathers with a soft tenderness.
"Your own men did this you just because you lost a fight? That’s ridiculous. How could anyone do that to their own ally when you’re on the same side? Wait...Will they...come after you? Come here I mean, to Earth?"
Was Cloud helping a wanted fugative?

𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬
1. WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE?
According to his official eau de toilette “A mix of refreshing floral, fruity and oriental scents.”
In reality, he probably smells like someone who has not changed their clothes in over a year, doesn’t know when they’ll get their next shower, hair spray, sword cleaning polish, and traces of mako that will forever cling to his skin.
2. WHAT DO YOUR MUSE’S HANDS FEEL LIKE?
If Madame M is to be believed “The strong, firm hands of a fighter. Yet they possess a certain elegance and grace.”
3. WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE USUALLY EAT IN A DAY?
Cloud forgets to eat most days, then claim SOLDIERs don't need as many calories as the average person (liar). Since the party is normally on the road, resting at a local Inn or camping outside under the stars, Cloud will eat just about anything put in front of him regardless if he likes it or not.
He does however have a fondness for homemade cooking, especially his Mother’s Stew and whatever Tifa can whip up.
4. DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE A GOOD SINGING VOICE?
No. Cloud doesn't speak very often and when he does it’s delivered in this same tone that’s blunt and straight to the point. He hasn't exercised his vocals cords enough to get any real range out of them.
5. DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY BAD HABITS OR NERVOUS TICKS?
He crosses his arms when he’s feeling defensive and occassionally taps his foot when idle for too long. If he fails to come up with a witty comeback then he does this adorable pout and go “hmph!” (Does that count?)
6. WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE USUALLY LOOK LIKE / WEAR?
Cloud spends most of the game wearing whatever he has on hand, which is either his old infantryman uniform in Crisis Core or the SOLDIER uniform gifted to him by Zack. Advent Children is when we see Cloud actually wearing what he wants; all black outfits with many belts and wolf patterns, and an unnecessary half-skirt that matches Tifa’s own garb.
7. IS YOUR MUSE AFFECTIONATE? HOW MUCH? HOW SO?
Cloud does not show affection in the traditional way. The lack of social skills he learned as a kid and the trauma he suffured in Hojo’s lab have emotionally stunted him. This is best illustrated in FF7R when Tifa breaks down in front of Cloud in Aerith’s garden and Cloud doesn’t know how to help, so he mimics what he saw Barret do for Tifa when the plate fell, he hugs her. This gesture doesn't come naturally to Cloud and he sorta ruins it by hugging her too tightly.
Instead, Cloud shows affection by caring for the physical well-being of his loved ones. He offers Tifa advice like a coach would, he steps between Barret and a possible threat, goads NPCs into making better life choices, goes along on Jessie’s side quest, and in the case of Aerith, he doesn’t stop to consider how ridiculous it is to offer to walk her back home after she just went through the trouble of escorting him to Sector 7 in the first place.
Cloud acts tough but has proven that he will drop everything if someone needs help. He's kinda like your dad, isn't too good with the emotional support stuff, but great at doing these small acts of kindness that make your day slightly less shitty.
8. WHAT POSITION DOES YOUR MUSE SLEEP IN?
He’ll initially sleep on his back but at some point in the night curl up on his side. Sometime he’ll even fall sleeping sitting up with one leg drawn to his chest.
9. COULD YOU HEAR YOUR MUSE IN THE HALLWAY FROM ANOTHER ROOM?
Cloud has been proven to be quite stealthy, despite what the giant hunk of steel on his back would have you believe.

eeveeliciousrp:
“Heaven.”
He replied as he looked to his bloody hand. When the human came closer to help him up Sephiroth did his best to stand, having to put his weight against the human to not fall again. He managed to make it to the sofa without tripping and sat down leaning forward with his head in his hands. The single wing stretched out to drape over Sephiroth’s head like a blanket to help him hide from the world.
The angel remained silent when warned that the treatment might hurt. His muscles tensed as his wound was treated but he bit back any further noises of pain. After a few minutes and all bandaged up his shoulders slumped and he let his hands fall.
“Do you know what it is like to have a piece of your soul ripped from you? That’s what I feel right now.”
Sephiroth answered bitterly, but then sighed. The human couldn’t possibly know the extent of his pain ran far deeper than the physical form.
“Thank you for helping me… I’m sorry about your home, I couldn’t exactly control where I crashed…”
“Can’t say that I have,” he said awkwardly, not sure what to do with himself now that he had nothing to distract his hands with.
Comforting was not one of Cloud’s strong points, it was second only to his inability to get a conversation going without saying something insensitive and killing the mood. He could never relate to this stranger losing a limb, nor did he ever breach the subject with his friend Barret who was very defensive about anyone asking about his prosthetic arm.
“Don’t worry about the garage, I can fix it.”
He can always fix things. It’s the only thing he’s good for.
“Just for the record, are you one of them,” he gestures up towards the ceiling. “-Or them.” He then pointed down to the floor.

Zack had leaped right into action, slicing at these monsters that still surrounded them. With a swing of his blade, he felled three, then another three, and glanced back at the one who was backing away to dodge and swerve away from oncoming attacks. There was so much dirt and dust kicked up from the commotion, and he was having a hard time getting a good view of who this was. Must be one of Aerith’s companions, I think. Better to help out!
So, he kept on swinging, and waiting until the dust had settled some and the monster fled as their numbers dwindled, before he turned to stare at the one who he had come upon. “Hey, so –…..!!!!!!!” Once more his heart skipped several beats, and sunk all at the same time, at the sight of this one.
“Cloud!?!?!” He looked so different from how he knew him, and it was both shocking and gave him a swirl of pride deep in his chest. “Wow – Look at you!!” He could not remember how long it had been since he’s seen him, but he was certain that it had been recently. A lot was trapped in a tight-knitted fog, for sure, but there was definitely a difference here!
| @nimbostrxtus |
With the last of the monters taken care of Cloud could focus all his attention on the real threat in front of him. As the dust cleared and the air glowed green from the fallen canines returning to the lifestream, illuminating the stranger’s own matching mako infused eyes, strong jawline and spiky black hair that resembled a hedgehog pie.
Great another Roche. Why was every SOLDIER so chummy with him lately? He was never this popular back in Nibelheim.
“Not another step, “ he warned, sword still raised in a defensive stance. “We’re not going back to Midgar. So this is your only warning to turn around now and go back to where you came from.”

“The color pigments in all animals are created by melanin, chocobos have a very unique melanin chemical compound that makes the bright vivid pigments. The less there is, the less pigments. With no melanin thats when you get the pure white ones, it’s all carried through DNA over the generations…” Sephiroth began to explain but the jockey seemed to understand very little. No surprise there as most people didn’t, but it saddened the silverette as he was so passionate about his work. “A bunch of science stuff that goes into making the choices for breeding.” He simplified his explanation for Cloud.
“It seems we will be. I hope our time spent together is enjoyable, I’d like to have a reason to visit other than to tend to the chicks.” Cloud was a cute one, but it might be a challenge getting close to him. Hopefully the chocobo would be a good common interest to make things easier.
Cloud did not know the biology behind what gave Chocobo’s their distinctive colour, only that some were more valuable than others and sold for a higher price because of it, but he was fascinated to learn the whys and hows of their genetic makeup. Sephiroth didn’t treat these birds like produce or numbers, but living creatures that needed nurturing and respect.
“I’d love to hear more about it then next time you come down,” Cloud said. “I mostly spend my days with Skye on the race track prepping for the next race but I do try to help around the ranch in the evenings.”
Balancing on his tippy toes, Cloud whispered in taller man’s ear, “Between you and me, Dio needs to keep a steady flow of profit flowing into this place so most races are rigged. But, if you happen to put a bid down on the green one...then it’s just a coincidence if it comes in first tonight.”

A deal? The question lingered in his head for a few moments, but not voicing it. His expression would be enough to convey the curiosity in it, and he kept those eyes trained on the other. “Oh? Giving me options? How generous of you.“ Of course it would be obvious to go with the first one, as he would never pass up a chance to be with him, even if there was a catch to it. None of it mattered, so long as they were together. “I shall behave, then.”
For why not? What did it matter to him what they did, other than being locked away for forever. He most certainly did not want that boring stance, and wondered if it could even be possible for them to keep him that long. So, it seems. He definitely had underestimated the likes of the Ancient, once more, and of her companions. It was aggravating, were he to let his mind continue in these thoughts, to have such foes that somehow managed to prevail through every obstacle.
“Now, what were you wanting to show me, Cloud?” He could care less if he was still bound, as long as he could be allowed to stand and walk with the boy, it would be fine enough for him.
| @nimbostrxtus |
Although Cloud tried his best to hide it, there was a noticeable drop in his once tense muscles, a slight weight, no matter how light had been lifted from his shoulders. Cloud wasn’t expecting a change of heart overnight, but he had managed to do what he had once thought to be the impossible, bridge a gap between them.
Aerith would be proud. Zack would be thrilled.
“Humanity.” he answered softly and stepped forward to unlock the cuffs from Sephioth’s limbs. “Despite what you claim you’re still human, and I think it’s time someone reminded you of that.”
#going through my drafts#hiislegacy#Cloud is all grown up and being an adult#Barret is gonna be furious if he finds out Sephiroth is crashing on their couch XD

Leather sole boots beat concrete floor with a heavy thud and a sharp slash of steel cut through military plated armour. The intruder didn’t stop in their stride as they cut down drone after drone, far too focussed on the task ahead of them. Somewhere behind them they heard their comrads lose pace and stop to stall for time as more drones nipped at their heels.
Even with his SOLDIER enhanced strength and endurance though, Cloud has panting heavily as he rushed down the corridor of the secret underground lab. He as angry. Angry at Shinra for taking Zack away again. Angry at Tseng for only now telling him where they took Zack. Angry at Tifa and Barret for telling him to be patient and wait until they were ready and at full strength to break-in.
He was angry at Zack. For making this decision for them. For putting himself in danger. For putting himself before everyone else, again! But most of all he was angry at himself for not protecting Zack. His friend had taken care of Cloud for five years, even sacrificed his life for him, and Cloud couldn’t even return the favour for a month.
“Zack!” he shouted, forcing his way through the last reinforced door and spotting familiar black spikes inside a cell. It took less time to get the cell open and cradle Zack’s limp body in his arms, careful not to touch any of his more serious wounds ”Hang on I’m going to get you out of here. Can you speak?”
💉💉 - « @nimbostrxtus »

As he came to, everything was… sideways. Steel bars were the first thing he saw. Then, the eerie green light of mako tanks, lined up one after the other, lining the walls all around him, and clustered in the center of the room.
Wherever he was, it reeked of a smell that chilled him right to the bone. Someplace he fought to stay away from, but this time… he had to make a choice. It was him or Cloud.
He took the bait, he met up with the agent that had blackmailed him, threatening to have a strike team ambush not them - but, those who were less able to defend themselves.
They had avalanche pinned down. Tifa, barret, the others - they were all strong, sure, but not strong enough for an entire attack squad of elite trained assassins.
So it was either turn himself in, or have them gunned down.
He didn’t tell Cloud when he left.
He knew the blond would be smart enough to figure it out… it was what he was counting on. For now, though, he laid here an aching mess, chemicals coursing through his system making him feel sick as a dog, and his limbs uncooperative. Laid here on the metal floor, scabbed over wounds and bruises collecting on his skin from when he resisted the tests. The drugs were the only reason he submitted, finally.
He closed his eyes again, knowing he was strong enough to wait. And hope that Cloud was taking it slow, taking his time… though, considering the fact he’d lost Zack once already - that worried him. As long as Cloud didn’t get himself caught too. Zack could pray.
