I LIVE!

Hey I’m still not dead! and im not giving up on this blog either. Its just that through the end of 2019 I was EXTREAMLY busy with exams, bowl games, and meeting family.... There was also a bit of depression thrown in there that really peaked last week. But! I’m not giving up! There is porpus in this life, and I intend to find it one way or another! With or without people by my side I intend to live my life being happy. Who knows what is in store for me, I am only 20, I have much more ahead of me than I do behind me. Maybe I’ll post some more pics here as I go along. I have been working in some 3D modeling. Until then remember that you can work through this! Its not the end of the world....Yet!

Amazon boxes

You know how amazon has the commercials about their boxes singing? well what if instead of the boxes singing, they were screaming. You go to the door to get your package and hear a AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA as you open the door. The mailman goes back to the truck as you hear more muffled screams coming from it. The more boxes you have the more screams you have. No one can live near the amazon shipping plant because the screaming boxes never cease screaming. I is never quieter than 200 dbs at the plant and it can be heard ten miles away. no one is safe from the screaming boxes.

ALRIGHT TIME TO DO IT LIVE! NO SCRIPT OR EDITING THIS TIME JUST STRAIGHT VERBAL BARFING! That being said i really  dont know what im going to write about in this post. Maybe jsut an update? Yea that should be fine. I have no followers, one note from a bot, and nothing new to report. But thats all fine with me as this was just a way to let out some inner thoughts. I cant be caught talking to myself while walking down the street, people will start to think that i am crazy. As I go foward with my writings i think that I will post all the times that I was talking about posting this stuff.(I have a word document full of my ramblings, most of which are already posted here.) A lot of the things that I wrote about are time sensiteve, so maybe i will post them maybe i wont. Who knows. Anyway its now 12:08, time for a hat in time.

Haunted House

I wonder how hard it would be to design a haunted house. I went to the college run one twice this week. There are a few of my friends working so I get to do dumb stuff with them because they sometimes break character. But other than that they stuff they have there is you run of the mill haunted house. There are a few jump scares, narrow hallways int the dark, and some smoke effects that are pretty cool. Don’t get me wrong it is a very good haunted house, but I want to make one that is more scary, and not in a way that is just “more gore and the workers can touch you” no I want to make one that is a bit more subtle. Shen Comics made a comic about this a while back, about how average horror is big and loud and wants to kill you, but good horror is quiet and frail, and doesn’t want to kill you. In fact you are so discussed by it you kill it. But it never goes away. Imagine Michael Myers. That is a perfect creation of horror, He is quiet, and does want to kill you, but is never there when you look back at him. But he never goes away. So what would be in this new haunted house? Large open rooms that are dark but with a few sounds that are atmospheric. Close halways are good, but make them carpeted with some shag carpet that was in a van from the 70s. Light switches that don’t always work, and workers that appear and disappear when the lights go out. They don’t run toward you, but they move in the shadows. Going through the backrooms(search online) and old abandoned buildings. Nothing is scarier than not knowing what is there. There is an old saying that I am not afraid of the dark, but rather what lurks inside of it. And then for one room, (just for fun) you enter into a dark room. There is silence, but suddenly you hear it. Youre gonna have a bad time. You see skeletons hanging from the ceiling, all of them with one glowing eyeball. Megolovana starts blasting, as the skeletons fall towards you.

Laughter

Does anyone else get really uncomfortable when showing someone a video that’s over a minute long? Or is that just me? The reason I say this is its like “I had your curiosity, but now I have your attention.” But for that one minute you are laughing away at that video and your friend is just kinda standing there, not laughing that much, but smiling nonetheless. And then it feels like you are just kinda wasting their time and it makes it a really uncomfortable situation for you. Maybe I’m overthinking this whole thing, but I really want to make them laugh. There’s a few people I know who have a really good laugh, and one girl that I know who’s laugh will absolutely make my day. And then there’s another friend who I have who they don’t necessarily laugh at what I show them, but they do a HEGH When they see something funny. I would do anything to see them let loose in a fit of laughter, just a moment of pure joy.

Football and band

we had a football game at our college. I didn’t play, but im in the marching band. So I guess that’s cool. Its always so weird when we go to play in the stands or at the tailgaters. I actually only play in the back ensemble so I don’t have anything to play in the stands or at the tailgaters. (back ensemble is a drum set, guitar, bass, and keyboard) so while the band is playing, I just stand there and watch them. It is really a strange experience because I don’t know what to do exactly, even after doing this for so long. I cant take credit for what the other people are doing, but I have to stand there while other people say “you’re doing so good!” is my standing that impressive, or am I just so menacing that people are afraid not to complement me?

Shoes

Is it wrong to wear work boots everywhere? I know its wrong to wear them to a formal event such as a funeral or an important business meeting, but im talking about wearing them for everyday events. I have one pair that I wear everywhere. I have nice shoes, its just that these are far more comfortable and are waterproof. I don’t have to worry about where I walk with boots on, so I guess that im able to get to places quicker. I think that today people don’t quite realize the true potential and benefit of wearing “those dirty shoes”.

One person podcast

I wonder what it would be like to be a youtuber who writes about their life and then reads it in a video. I could probably do that, but I wouldn’t be able to provide interesting visual accompaniment to to the video.

In todays episode of ten minutes of black screen and me talking: no your phone is not broken, I just cant draw.

I just realized that what I described is just a podcast with one person. Would anyone really listen to that if it was just about the dudes life? It would be like you volunteered to listen to a family members boring life at a Christmas party for thirty minutes and you cant get away because this is a distant relative and your parents are watching from the corner while sipping on diet Pepsi because they told you that you need to be social around these people. Do you want to be in this situation? No you would rather be back at home playing games with your cousin on the computer with an old friend from high school but you r cousin is here too and he is just as uncomfortable as you are and you hold a gaze that says “Nimrod, kill me.” (This has never happened to me personally though so what would I know about that.)

Water

My cousin and I got into a debate on weather water is wet. My stance is that water is wet, but only in certain circumstances is it not wet. Allow me to explain: According to Miriam-Webster, to be wet is to be “covered or saturated with water or another liquid.”  So in a sense, Water can be wet when it is one molecule surrounded by other molecules. If it was just one molecule then it wouldn’t actually be “wet”, only water. My cousin then went into detail about how when water comes together it creates surface tension or something like that saying that the molecules bond together and don’t actually cover or saturate each other.  Whatever, I stick by my reasoning.

Another thing we talked about is how nothing ins “truly wet” because of electron repulsion on the atomic level. For those of you that don’t know what that is let me explain it. On every atom there are flying electrons, like moons that orbit a planet. Each one holds a small negative charge. So when one group of electrons comes near another group, they repel each other like magnets. When this happens you feel the repelling of the electrons in your hand from the electrons in whatever you were about to “touch”.  So no matter how hard you punch that brick wall, no matter how much blood is pouring from your split open knuckles, you still have not technically touched that wall. I suppose this is better than the alternatives. Either your atoms join with the other objects atoms and you get a recreation of the atomic bombings, or you just kinda get absorbed into the other object/person.

Time

So many times in life I find out that I’m in the right place at the wrong time. It doesn’t help that I show up early to pretty much everything, but rather I try to be there before anyone else is. Some people call this “being a trendsetter” but I just don’t want to be the guy who is late to everything. “Joe it was so nice of you to join us, Fifteen minutes late.” On the other hand being late to something is sometimes the best thing that could happen to someone. Just imagine all the people who decided to sleep in on the morning of September 11th 2001. If the people who worked at the twin towers were late that day then they wouldn’t be able to tell the stories of the great people of who they worked with.

Num Lock

Do you know how irritating it is to not know that your number lock isn’t on after you enter a long list of numbers? I just tried entering the date at the top and all that it did was enter two slashes and moved the cursor down. Why is that even an option? Who uses the number pad as arrow keys? And why isn’t there an indicating light that lets me know that its turned off like my caps lock? Some of the worlds greatest miseries lie in the department of IT. (no not the clown)

Welcome to my life

I decided that i wanted to write a book, or at least some form of communication where i could get my thoughts out. Imagine like all the animators on you tube that animate short stories from their life(Jaiden animations, Odd1sout, somethingelseYT) So here I am, showing myself off to the world. I decided on the name nimrods-rambling because 1. I am a nimrod most of the time and 2. because i will ramble on A LOT. so while your here sit back and read on, ill post when i get new content. Trust me I’ve got plenty, I’ve got six pages of a word document filled.
