Chuck pouted, but, regardless, leaned into the ruffle, his pout slowly growing into a smile. He chuckled and brushed his hair back in place, shooing Mike's hand away.

"Okay, okay! I'll swim.". He shook his head and checked the time. Midday. Hottest part of the day. "Let's go then. It's gonna be like this for a while..." He grinned and grabbed Mike's headband, pulling back, and releasing it so it gently snapped back against the brunette's forehead. "It's also very fashionable," he grinned.

He stepped towards the exit of the garage, glancing behind him to see if his best friend was following. "You coming?..."

Chuck yelped, almost screaming, and his body instinctively jumped in response.

"Ahhhhhhhhuhhhh!!" He stood and turned to face whatever creature threw the rock, backing up against the alley wall.

Once he realized he had massively....massively given up his cover, he gulped and turned to run in the opposite direction. In his mind, he was already dead. In his mind, this woman behind him will see him as a a Deluxian threat, and will probably seek him out to eliminate him. At least, that's what Deluxe told you Motorcitizens would do..

Running soon wore him out, however, and he found the rusty exoskeleton of a truck to hide under. Though, the woman, should she be following, probably saw him, or would see the struggle in the dirt where he crawled under. He shook and tried to calm his breathing, covering his face with his hands. "Shit..." He breathed softly, gulping again.

The blonde was kneeled behind a pile of trash in an alley, tapping furiously at the keys of his digital screens. He, unknowingly, started to lean back, his body forcing him to get more comfortable. Before he knew it, he was resting against the heap, slowly tilting it before it tumbled to the ground.

He cursed and turned off his screens, standing up, scanning the area to see if he had been spotted.

Seeing no one, he sighed and relief, only to have his relief vanish as he head approaching foot steps. He ran behind a dumpster, hiding from the person who was closing in on him, knowing he couldn't defend himself down here from anyone who would want to harm him. Being in his Deluxe clothing, he could be seen as the enemy by anyone down in Motorcity.

Michelle stretches as she and the other Burners make their way to their respective areas around their garage, nursing any bruises they’d gotten in their latest fight against Kane.
