Hello! Ninjago Creator's Anonymous back for May. 😄 If you could only create with one color (and its shades) for a month, what would it be?
Hello!
Ooh, that's tricky XD
I will say I've always kinda wanted to try drawing in greyscale. I've seen some amazing artists who can do that...but I'd want to be able to add a specific color for contrast, like to the eyes.
So I'll say blue instead. I think that'd be fun to work with, especially with the cooler colors.

Hey there! Ninjago Creator's Anonymous here, better late than never! Are there any particular subjects and/or characters that you find yourself drawing over and over again? What do you like drawing about them?
Evil Kai my beloved 😩
There’s just something fun about the most emotional character on the teaming just snapping or getting corrupted. Like we were given a sliver of it in season 4, and ever since then I’ve been waiting for the day Kai finally snaps (and he kind of did in Crystalized! It was short lived though)
Anyways, evil Kai rights

he's just, you know, the guy and it's easy to draw him somehow ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i like that he's usually the bad guy but will help the ninja when there's real trouble, it's nice :))

Hello, it's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again with another ask 🥰 What's the most complex fic you've ever written? How well do you think it turned out?
Hello! Tbh, I have not really written anything I would consider complex and actually finished it. I’ve started a couple of multi chapter aus thatI had planned to have complex plot lines including such things as: political upheaval, mysterious villains, mistaken identities, spy themes, war, loss, etc. Personally I think my CONCEPTS are excellent but my execution? Eh it could use some work Both stories have been put on hold until I sort out how to better manage my topics, plot and themes. The motivation for long term projects is… difficult and there’s a lot more that goes into breathing life into a story outline than I’d originally anticipated. It’s an interesting challenge.
#april#anon asks#well half of writing a story is knowing what you want from it! and that's the part I actually struggle with most of the time#so you're doing better than me 😂 your concepts sound really cool tho!

Hello! Ninjago Creator's Anonymous back for May. 😄 If you had to describe your writing style with one color, which one would it be and why?
Well, now this is a tough one...
If I were choose just one color, then I might have to go with a dark shade of red. It reminds me of the last moments of a summer sunset with, when the sky is just aglow with so many shades of orange, and that's kind of how my writing works. That flow and transition is how I try to create with my work.
And it's not because of how I want my style to feel; it's because that's just what feels so natural to me.
#anon asks#may#ooh that's really nice imagery i can totally see what you mean!! what a lovely style 🥰

Hello! Ninjago Creator's Anonymous back for May. 😄 If you could only create with one color (and its shades) for a month, what would it be?
Ohhh this is pretty hard, but think i'd go with shades of orange!
I love using yellow/orange for highlights since it gives off a 'majestic' vibe to the post 💫
(it's also my favorite color!)
The shades are just really vibrant, really good for emphasizing and such!
It also fits as a color palette for Cole's month !! With autumn vibes, lava (the ship or/and actual lava), sunset..
This just gives me so many ideas already 🧡

Hello! Ninjago Creator's Anonymous back for May. 😄 If you had to describe your writing style with one color, which one would it be and why?
Maybe Pink?
Not too sure but I have made nothing but fluff, comedy, or hurt/comfort fics. Never went the path of pure angst and like the kindness part of my fic more than the hurt parts.
So I think Pink works for the google defination of pink in color theory.
But I mean, I haven't published my fic that takes some time in a hospital so mabye it'll turn to red by then? /jk
#may#anon asks#lol hospital red 😂 ah pink is a great color and i think it really matches the vibe of hc works!

Hello, it's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again with another ask 🥰 Do you prefer working on one big project at a time, or several smaller ones?
sorry for taking a bit to answer!
I like working on several smaller ones. I usually have the tendency to bite off more than I can chew sometimes so I try to avoid one big project unless I plan it out thoroughly.

Hello, it's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again with another ask 🥰 What's the most ambitious art that you've created? Are you pleased with how it turned out?
Hii!! Yeah it was the Pixal and Zane painting not so long back, it took like 7h but in the end I was still really happy with how it turned out :)

I like smaller projects by a wide margin.
A big project is more stressful since it has more room to have mistakes I could miss.
And I don't like that issue.
Also, I have to plan out something a lot more for a big project than just very small ones that don't need to be considered with each other.

Hello and welcome to April! It's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again 🥰 Which of your OCs has the most fleshed-out background? Which one has the least?
Hello again!! Happy April :)
Kira definitely has the most fleshed-out background. It's mostly because I've come up with a history for not just her, but her family and previous EMs as well.
Still working out the kinks with this, but the general idea is that most Masters of Crystal originate from another realm, the Crystal Realm (ik very original lol). They lived here for centuries and protected their people, who were able to perform healing magic using the crystals they created. Sometime after the FSM died, the realm was invaded by dark forces and the element of crystal went dormant for a while. It eventually ends up in Kira's family, with her inheriting it after her dad's disappearance. From there, the events of my fanfic Moonlight kick off when Kira moves into the Monastery to train to be an EM like her dad was and plenty of hijinks ensue. Definitely gonna flesh this out further and share more in the future ;)
As for the least fleshed-out, I would say the next gen kids, just because they all pretty much have the same basic backstory - born and raised together in the Monastery, all wanting to be heroes like their parents (albeit for different reasons), that kind of thing.
#anon asks#april#oh that's really neat! good for you take advantage of those realms we love to see it 🥰

Hello and welcome to April! It's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again 🥰 What's the most ambitious art that you've created? Are you pleased with how it turned out?
Hmmm, if we're only talking about recentish pieces I'd say the pose I used in my Mina drawing a few years back was pretty ambitious! I tend to avoid dynamic poses and backgrounds at all costs, so I surprised myself by going all out with it!

Hello and welcome to April! It's Ninjago Creators Anonymous back again 🥰 Do you prefer working on one big project at a time, or several smaller ones?
Hello! Finally have a proper answer to a question XD
I usually work on one big project at a time. There is the occasional short story I'll type up quickly while working on a larger one-shot, but otherwise it's just one project at a time.
I just find it easier to focus with lol. Especially with art, it's hard to pace out a bunch of different projects instead of focusing on a single drawing.
#anon asks#april#ah that makes sense! yeah it can be hard to find the right pacing when you're working on multiple projects at a time huh
