Not to be a bitch but sometimes people engage with fiction in the most boring way possible, and nowhere is this clearer than in videogames. Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you

Sorry I've restrained myself from saying anything up till now but seeing this and how everyone is continuously being tricked by this user is really bothering me.

OP doesn't always paint from scratch, they make paintovers. I.e., they paint over the top of existing photos. It's obvious to those of us who are artists and know what digital paintings should look like on a detailed level, but it may not be obvious to others. There's a reason why most of their pictures have a heavy noise filter over them. It covers up the more obvious signs of a paintover, i.e., smoother brush strokes that look out of place in a photo with noise.

This image is likely a paintover. Like others, they likely took a photo of a man, then painted over it to look like Jean, i.e. by adding the white stripes on the sleeves, the RCM patch, the face scars, and painting the hair and beard.

While there's nothing inherently wrong with making paintovers, it is wrong to 1) fail to credit the original photo and where it came from; and 2) deceive people into thinking that those paintovers are actually drawn from scratch.

OP has been called out for this on X and Bsky (with proof), including for painting over the top of another user's painting, all without credit. But instead of being transparent and crediting photos from then on, they deleted their account. They continue to post here and pretend all their pictures are painted from scratch.
