Area 51
Area 51 refers to a map location and is the popular name for a United States Air Force base. It is at Groom Lake, a dry lake bed in the Nevada Desert, 85 miles (135km) north of Las Vegas.
What goes on inside is extremely secret. Members of the public are kept away by warning signs, electronic surveillance and armed guards.
It is also illegal to fly over Area 51, although the site is now visible on satellite images. The base has runways up to 12,000ft (2.3 miles/3.7km) long.
The facility is next to two other restricted military areas: the Nevada Test Site, where US nuclear weapons were tested from the 1950s to the 1990s, and the Nevada Test and Training Range.
The entire range covers more than 2.9 million acres of land.
According to the US military, it represents "a flexible, realistic and multidimensional battle-space to conduct testing tactics development, and advanced training".

Halloween 2k19
Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31, and Halloween 2019 occurs on Thursday, October 31. The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. In the eighth century, Pope Gregory III designated November 1 as a time to honor all saints. Soon, All Saints Day incorporated some of the traditions of Samhain. The evening before was known as All Hallows Eve, and later Halloween. Over time, Halloween evolved into a day of activities like trick-or-treating, carving jack-o-lanterns, festive gatherings, donning costumes and eating treats.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
In India and elsewhere, he was often called Sardar, meaning "chief" in Hindi, Urdu, and Persian. He acted as Home Minister during the political integration of India and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947. Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel (31 October 1875 – 15 December 1950), popularly known as Sardar Patel, was an Indian politician. He served as the first Deputy Prime Minister of India. He was an Indian barrister, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress and a founding father of the Republic of India who played a leading role in the country's struggle for independence and guided its integration into a united, independent nation.
Patel was raised in the countryside of the state of Gujarat. He was a successful lawyer. He subsequently organised peasants from Kheda, Borsad, and Bardoli in Gujarat in non-violent civil disobedience against the British Raj, becoming one of the most influential leaders in Gujarat. He was appointed as the 49th President of Indian National Congress, organising the party for elections in 1934 and 1937 while promoting the Quit India Movement.
As the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of India, Patel organised relief efforts for refugees fleeing to Punjab and Delhi from Pakistan and worked to restore peace. He led the task of forging a united India, successfully integrating into the newly independent nation those British colonial provinces that had been "allocated" to India. Besides those provinces that had been under direct British rule, approximately 565 self-governing princely states had been released from British suzerainty by the Indian Independence Act of 1947. Threatening military force, Patel persuaded almost every princely state to accede to India. His commitment to national integration in the newly independent country was total and uncompromising, earning him the sobriquet "Iron Man of India". He is also remembered as the "patron saint of India's civil servants" for having established the modern all-India services system. He is also called the "Unifier of India" The Statue of Unity, the world's tallest statue, was dedicated to him on 31 October 2018 which is approximately 182 metres (597 ft) in height.

Simi Valley Fire
Firefighters had a hopeful outlook for the evening firefight after learning from previous wildfires in Southern California, as crews battled the fast-moving Easy Fire, which when fueled by the most powerful winds of the season grew to more than 1,000 acres in mere hours.
The blaze woke residents early Wednesday morning, climbing a hillside near homes and surrounding the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in thick smoke.
The Easy Fire, estimated at about 1,600 acres, was reported Wednesday around 6 a.m. on a hillside between Simi Valley and Moorpark during extreme fire weather conditions. Buildings at the hilltop library were not immediately threatened, but homes below were evacuated.
It jumped Highway 23 at one point during the day, but firefighters got a handle on that portion of the spread.
"We knew from our experience with Woolsey, Hill and Thomas (fires) that evacuations were going to be needed right away," Division Chief of County of Ventura Jeff Shea said at an afternoon news conference. "We are currently reinforcing lines that are in place, and everything is looking really good."
Later Wednesday, Southern California Edison official Robert Laffoon-Villegas said out of abundance of caution, they've notified the California Public Utilities Commission that there was activity on a 66kV sub-transmission line that hadn't been de-energized near the fire's origin.
It wasn't immediately clear if this was the source of the blaze, as crews would continue to investigate.

Gone Girl(Novel)
Gone Girl is a thriller novel in the mystery and crime genres, by the American writer Gillian Flynn. It was published by Crown Publishing Group in June 2012. The novel became quite popular and soon made the New York Times Best Seller list. The sense of suspense in the novel comes from whether or not Nick Dunne is involved in the disappearance of his wife Amy.
In several interviews, Flynn has said that she was inspired to write the novel by the disappearance of Californian Laci Peterson in late 2002. Portraying her principal characters as out-of-work writers, she made use of her own experience being laid off from her job as a writer for Entertainment Weekly.
Critics in the United States positively received and reviewed the novel. Reviewers praised the novel's use of unreliable narration, plot twists, and suspense.
A film adaptation was released on October 3, 2014, directed by David Fincher, but written by Flynn herself, with Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike starring in lead roles. The film was met with both commercial success and widespread critical acclaim.

World Savings Day
The World Savings Day was established on October 30, 1924, during the 1st International Savings Bank Congress (World Society of Savings Banks) in Milan, Italy. The Italian Professor Filippo Ravizza declared this day the "International Saving Day" on the last day of the congress. In the resolutions of the Thrift Congress it was decided that 'World Thrift Day' should be a day devoted to the promotion of savings all over the World. In their efforts to promote thrift the savings banks also worked with the support of the schools, the clergy, as well as cultural, sports, professional, and women's associations.[1]
Representatives of 29 countries wanted to bring to mind the thought of saving to the worldwide public and its relevance to the economy and the individual. The World Savings Day is usually held on October 31 except in countries where this day is a public holiday, since the idea is for the banks to be open, so that the people are able to transfer their savings into their account.
The idea of World Thrift Day was not born out of nothing. There had been some examples of days that were committed to the idea of saving money in order to gain a higher standard of life and to secure the economy, for example in Spain where the first national thrift day was celebrated in 1921, or in the United States. In other countries, such as Germany, the peoples' confidence in savings had to be restored since many of them had lost their savings in the German monetary reform of 1923.
After the Second World War, World Thrift Day continued and reached the peak of its popularity in the years between 1955 and 1970. It practically became a veritable tradition in certain countries. In Austria, for instance, the official mascot of saving, the so-called 'Sparefroh' (literally: 'Happy Saver', or rather "save happily!") reached a higher degree of brand awareness than the republic's President and even a street was named after him. In the 1970s, the 'Sparefroh-Journal', an educational magazine for younger people, reached a circulation of 400,000 copies.[2]
Nowadays the focus of the banks that organize the World Savings Day is on developing countries, where many people are unbanked. Savings banks play an important role in enhancing savings in these countries with certain campaigns and initiatives such as working with nongovernmental organizations in order to double the number of savings accounts held by the poor.

My First Blog
Blog on a regular basis, and if applicable, within the same time line.Blogging on a regular basis will help to retain readers as they will keep coming back to see new posts. Blogging within the same time line is really only applicable if you only plan on only writing a post once a week or once a month. Having posts come out at around the same time each week/month etc., will help let readers know when check your blog (assuming they don’t just use an RSS feed) for a new post. It’s all about consistency.Welcome, reader, to the first post of my first blog. Within this space you will find future posts surrounding the use of social media platforms and their adaption to enterprises as a tool to further their sustainability.
I would like to use this space to express my thoughts and ideas regarding current topics at hand. If I am able to strike up a conversation in the comments or other social media mediums about the topic at hand, then I will definitely consider that a small success in my blogging strategies, as I know people are firstly; reading my content and secondly, actually interested in said content.
Presently, however, this post is based on the strategies available to bloggers to increase their viewership, and to ultimately create a successful blog – strategies that I myself will use on this blog to gain popularity.
An example of OneNote on a mobile device.
One of the things that I have always most important with any kind of work that I do, is the medium that I use to create that work. I don’t believe this any different for blogging, and will be paramount to my personal blogging strategy, and that tool is: Microsoft OneNote. OneNote is an extremely powerful, yet somewhat underrated and underused tool within the Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to work on content from University, home, or virtually anywhere via my smart phone is a great addition to anything I’m working on by being able to add notes and ideas on the fly, accessible nearly anywhere.
In the specific topic of blogging strategies, the main fundamentals that I’m going to be looking at are as follows:
1: Write posts that are of interest towards your readers.
This is fairly straight forward – if you’re aiming for an audience that’s interested in the technology, social media and enterprise 2.0 side of things, then constantly write quality posts about those topics. This content is what your readers will come to expect, and will be the reason that they will come back. If you blog about technology and suddenly start talking about pedestal fans, then obviously there’s going to be some confusion.
2: Blog on a regular basis, and if applicable, within the same time line.
Blogging on a regular basis will help to retain readers as they will keep coming back to see new posts. Blogging within the same time line is really only applicable if you only plan on only writing a post once a week or once a month. Having posts come out at around the same time each week/month etc., will help let readers know when check your blog (assuming they don’t just use an RSS feed) for a new post. It’s all about consistency.
3: Write posts that are informative, well researched, and will hopefully bring out discussions amongst your readers.
I believe this is the most important part of a blogging strategy. When reading a news article you expect the journalist to have done research on the topic, conducted interviews if applicable, all to create a well written and informative article. This is no different towards blogs. If you’re able to create an active discussion about the topic you’re covering, you may increase interest and readers.
Currently one of my favourite blogs is Engadget. Engadget is a blog which writes articles about the latest technology innovations and updates. Technology is a passion of mine, and is the foremost reason on why I decided to study IT, and the what led towards my current career path, so keeping up with all the latest news is essential, and most of the information I get is from Engadget, as they always deliver exactly what I want – technology news.
Another blog which I frequent is Windows Phone central. I have been an avid user of Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 for three years now, so having a blog dedicated to the platform is a great way to keep up to date. Although there can be articles which are sourced from elsewhere, the convenience of having one location for a particular topic definitely makes up for it.
I hope you enjoyed this first post, and I hope you’ll be back in the future for future posts! Please feel free to leave a comment regarding this post.
Nitin.
