Hello beautiful people! Welcome to Nivaste Camping Journal. I want to share with you all our families story and adventures. We started out tied to the dreadful 9 to 5 daily grind. No real time for family fun or even personal growth. Always worried about making rent, or rising gas prices or making ends meet in general. Our lives bound to these 4 walls. Thats when we decided we've had enough.
We downsized everything, put all of our stuff in storage, and bought a better tent. We have done a lot of camping, so we already had most of the gear. We are lucky enough to live in an area with dozens of campgrounds and national forests. Campgrounds close to jobs i get, and dispersed camping deep in the forest when i dont have work.
The wife and I manage Airbnb's and run a very small handyman business. Our daughter is 12 and in school. So staying in the area is ideal. What a great area to be tied to anyway! We have it all right here on the Olympic peninsula.
I want to use this platform to share adventures, struggles, helpful ideas, pictures, campfire stories, and any other information I think may be helpful. So join us!
