I wish everyone to be safe, to love yourself and others and to fight for your rights. We live in turbulent times, and it is more important that ever to protect yourself. Remember, no matter what happens, queers will persist. Love, Kira.

For those curious, I drew Rinji as she is intersex (as is clearly evident, lol.) She is also bisexual, but that honestly plays less of a role in her life. Intersex people deserve their rights protected and their stories known, their struggles shared and acknowledged. She means the world to me, and so does her queerness. I don’t think it’s unusual for people in ffxiv to impart their gender and/or sexuality onto their characters, and I am no exception. So when deciding to celebrate this year of pride, — the year when even corporations aren’t putting on their rainbow coat, — I knew no better character to celebrate it with. I am still a white european girl, so it’s not like I’m oppressed like many of our brethren are (even if I’m from the eastern Europe hellscape), but right now I think every single word counts.

Fuck TERFs and fuck transphobes. Fuck segregationists. Fuck anyone who deems your existence a problem. Keep yourself save and know that you are never alone.

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG posts were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! Two Small Lies

A few sketches of my story. I recently have completely rewritten it completely. Some may remember my earlier sketches of what i called “Ball AU”, but it ended up being much better than my previous work. I am pretty happy with this story, and if I can make myself post my art, I’d love to tell about it, too.

in order of appearance:

[Baron] Melonie Runz: A peasant who was given a noble title for her military achievements. National hero who actively participated in the Reclamation War against the neighbouring kingdom. Known for her violent tendencies and short temper, as well as generally antisocial patterns.

Lord Eric Eisenritz: A peasant who married into the Eisenherz family. Chronically ill and relies on his husband’s support. Is known for his feminine fashion and frail appearance.

Lord Mikélle Eisenritz: A kind-hearted and loving son of the Duke of Eisenritz. Owns comparatively little land to his siblings, and has no notable talents. Despite being considered a disappointment of the family, lack of expectations allows him to be free to his own affairs.

Count Raphael Solientel: An accomplished mage and general of the National Guard. Received his title and popularity thanks to his military achievements and charismatic personality. Despite his age he was never married, though he regularly receives invites from various bachelors and bachelorettes.

FEAR AND AGGRESSION

Oh, how we walked We would mourn the fallen later

Originally a perspective practice, then a painting practice, together a piece that I am very proud of. I really do love drawing the Final Days a Lot.

The name of the piece comes from Fear and Aggression [og.: Страх и агрессия] by Slot, and the quote comes from Frozen Memories by Falconshield feat. AntiRivet, — two songs that I heavily associate with that part of the MSQ.

This piece was hard to work on (not helped by the fact that 95% of it is on one layer), but every time I kept myself pushing because I just love Rinji and her story that much. Though, I must say - this is actually the rp!Rinji, not the WoL one.
