Been hearing a lot about "reparations" lately? Well, this is one way to start working towards that, since those in power certainly won't.

Include Intersex People In Your Activism.
This goes out to trans dyadic folks especially, since there's so much overlap in our communities/issues... And your ignornace on intersex people tends to drive some of us out of the LGBTQ+ Community.
Yes, you heard me right. Intersex people can be LGBTQ+, simply by being intersex. You may have heard that intersex people want you to stop including them in the community, however the inclusion of intersex people is more of an individual choice. There are intersex people who vehemently oppose being included themselves, and that's valid for them, they don't have to be included. But plenty of us still find our intersexuality to be LGBTQ+, and regardless, we deserve to have allies who speak up for us in the LGBTQ+ community. Don't encourage/spread blanket statements about our position on Intersex inclusion because there is no general consensus. Just respect our identities and trust us to know where we individually fall.
We're a heavily oppressed minority, and I can almost promise you, anything you think you know about us as a dyadic person probably wrong or inaccurate. Our oppression is more than just the medical trauma some of us go through as infants. Read about our experiences.
When researching intersex people, try to stay away from medical research (unless it's backed up by intersex activist groups). The medical establishment is one of our main oppressors (just like it is for trans folks!), and when you're just starting to learn about us it's a very easy way to get intersexist information.
I suggest learning about intersexuality from the archive of The Intersex Society of North America and the group that continues their work, InterAct: Advocates for Intersex Youth.
Most of all, listen to us and interact with us. If you have questions don't ask on the r/Intersex subreddit. Ask on r/Ask_Intersex instead and read the rules before posting.
