Please post your art, even if it sucks, It's something that was made by a human hand and it deserves to be seen and shown. If you don't want to post it that's fine, but don't wait and wait until you judge it "presentable" because it's beautiful
"I cant draw" then do it bad who gives a fuck.....

if you're struggling with your writing right now, I just want to say, now more than ever, it's needed, and I mean it.
It doesn't have to be a big think piece novel, an elaborate examination of a certain subject or opinion, your poetry doesn't have to have an obvious political angle, but yes, it also absolutely can.
It doesn't have to be light hearted escapism to heal our collective wounds for a while, but it can.
It can be as serious or as silly as you want. It doesn't have to be anything other than authentic to you.
We're nearing, or already in, an era where everything feels like it is becoming less and less authentic, further and further detached from people's true experiences, genuine voices, algorithms feeding us the most shallow, trend-following, manufactured by big-bucks, AI spouted, sterile material and no matter what you're writing, be it a mind-blowing, life-shattering profound novel, or a casual piece of fun entertainment (maybe both!) so long as you're writing and creating from the heart, out of passion for writing it, it's needed out here right now 💗

What I like abt botw era zelink is that some fic authors will do two fics for them: pre-calamity and post-calamity. And they’re both slow-burn. 1000/10 content y’all. It’s always True Slow-Burn™ in the botw fandom and I love that abt it. We got that sweet pre-calamity slow-burn where Link and Zelda go from one-sided … not exactly enemies, to friends, to confessing or showing each other that they love each other just in time for them to be separated by Events. Then, after botw, you get the post-calamity stuff where Zelda remembers their history, but Link is still piecing it together and they have to reestablish their bond. And just. Angst and feelings. More slow-burn as they work out their trauma and memory loss and finding their place in a post-calamity world

Something in TPN that I have heard NO ONE mention is the symbolism behind Ray's attempt, self immolation has been used as an act of nonviolent protest for years, the definition of self immolation is literally "sacrificing oneself by setting themselves on fire usually for religious or political protest or martyrdom." My personal belief was that Ray wasn't so much suicidal, as in he wanted to die just to end his own suffering, but to make a final statement, he said himself that setting himself on fire was going to be an act of intense protest, waiting until he is the top product and ripping it away from them before they can get it, making one last sacrifice before they're taken to freedom, basically a huge "fuck you" to the farms and his mother who he served acknowledging the horrors of what the plantations did. The most famous instance of self-immolation is by Thich Quan Duc during the Vietnam war, he set himself on fire in an intersection on the streets of Saigon during a protest against religious and discrimination and political oppression.
