Lore Olympus Theory - Poseidon and his wife Amphirite are Polyamorous or have an open relationship.

Hear me out.

So as far as we are with the comic currently, i think it’s safe to say that Poseidon is infinitely better than Zeus, let alone his real world mythological counterpart.

Granted, we haven’t been given a lot of Poseidon compared to Hades or Zeus, but I work with what I got.

This is the main proof that he doesn’t practice monogamy.

An then this occurs shortly after.

So… he’s cool with Amphirite having a relationship with someone OTHER than himself. And they’re still together.

Plus he’s also currently the most capable of the brothers of having healthy relationships from what I can guess, given this golden line he drops during Family Brunch.

Oof. I thought he was serving pancakes. Not scalding truth.

He can draw a line at cheating, and he doesn’t seem to agree with Zeus’ ideas of relationships (when he suggests Hades just makes Persephone his bride).

Clearly a himbo.

So Poseidon and Amphirite are both polyamorous or have an open relationship, and both draw the line at cheating. Which I think is a very cool take on them.

Curious on how this interpretation will affect the myths with him in Lore Olympus, and if we see anything pertaining to those myths at all.
