his liqueur and substance filled body shuffled through the crowded club, searching for the bar, but he struggled considering how blurry his vision was getting. ace wasn’t worried, it’s not like he didn’t do this almost every night anyway. he’s surprised though, when he feels himself back into a smaller figure & the boy immediately turns around while apologies spilled from his lips. ‘ oh my god, wait, hey, ’ his expression changes into a smile once he realizes it’s noelani & his demeanour changes slightly as he wants to impress her. ‘ i didn’t expect to see you tonight… can i buy you a drink ? ’ he asks over the loud music.

     empty drink & phone in hand , noelani ｗｅａｖｅｓ her way through the crowded club . she needs another vodka soda running through her veins . when someone else trying to 𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞 to the bar bumps into her a frown fixes itself on noel’s face . but a glance of the figure who ran into her causes a look of 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 .   “   hey yourself ,   ”   the brunette greets a smile finally makes its way onto her lips .   “   i like to SURPRISE people ,   ”   she says leaning in 𝒸𝓁𝑜𝓈𝑒 to ace so he can hear her .   “   i just finished mine , so i’d ʟᴏᴠᴇ one .   ”

smiling at noel’s dramatic entrance, reese could only nod in agreement because there’s no point in denying he feels the same way. they’re both equally obsessed, so he has no shame in admitting how into the fab 5 he truly is. “ whenever jonathan gives one of his pep talks, my depression gets cured just a little bit, ” he adds, quickly going to the kitchen to grab noel’s favorite wine, some glasses, and the bowl of popcorn he prepared for the occasion. trying to balance the items in his arms, he made his way back to the living room and plopped back down on the couch after depositing them on the coffee table. “ i can give you wine, but i technically can’t give you tan, because that would be kidnapping, ” he reasoned, unscrewing the cork with the wine opener on the pocket knife he keeps nearby. it’s not uncommon for them to chill on his couch and drink enough wine to put rich housewives to shame, so he learned to keep the necessary items close at all times. “ but you have me, and i’m just as amazing as tan, and if you say that i’m not then i will cry. ”

     a sigh f a l l s from noel’s lips , eyes fluttering closed as she allows herself to RELAX into the couch she has sprawled upon countless times . after a few beats , the brunette opens her eyes & reaches down to untie the golden goose sneakers on her feet .   “   jonathan makes me realize how 𝐩𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 i am & how much i need to stop being such a judgmental 𝐵𝐼𝑇𝐶𝐻 ,   ”   the girl comments with a dry laugh . when she hears reese 𝑓𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑙𝑖𝑛𝑔 around behind her , her head turns to watch the male carrying the wine , the glasses , & the big bowl of popcorn . a brow raises as he comes to join her on the couch .   “   i could have HELPED you with that ventura ,   ”   noel comments before reaching for a handful of popcorn .   “   i’m sure tan would not mind spending time with me ,   ”  the girl replies with a slight hair flip .   “   we could talk about the 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝓃𝒸𝒽 𝓉𝓊𝒸𝓀 all day ,   ”  she said pointedly . her hand latches on to the wine glasses , holding it in place for reese as he pours noel’s 𝖋𝖆𝖛𝖔𝖗𝖎𝖙𝖊 wine of choice . a laugh emits from the brunette with a nod ,   “   of COURSE you’re as 𝒶𝓂𝒶𝓏𝒾𝓃𝑔 as tan .   ”   hazel orbs watch as the glass fills the ｐｅｒｆｅｃｔ amount in the large wine glass that noel helped reese pick out . she had made sure that the wine glasses were to her particular tastes , needing them to hold copious amounts of alcohol .   “   i’m still slightly insulted that e ! hasn’t taken me up on my idea of having tan come on the show ,   ”   the girl adds before raising her filled wine glass in a form of a 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐑𝐒 .

            ‘ yo ! ’ the dark haired dj calls out through the loud pounding from the speakers overhead. a club, of all places, is one of gabe’s favorite area to occupy. not only does he work, but it’s just therapeutic to him hearing the hustle & bustle going on throughout the entire establishment. whenever he’s there, he’s truly in his element. just about to take a shot, he notices a familiar woman close by. & although they aren’t on the best of terms, which could be evident to anyone that’s ever around them for longer than five minutes, that didn’t mean they never manage to sneak back to either of their homes by the end of the night, ‘ wanna join ? there’s plenty of alcohol for everyone. ’

     a female figure weaves in and out of the horde of revelers in the 𝑽𝑰𝑷 section of the club she’s inhabiting tonight . as she ｎａｖｉｇａｔｅｓ through the drunken & high crowd , her hand raises, protecting her drink up high in the air so it won’t be spilled on her satin cowl neck dress . her head tilts when she hears a familiar voice 𝕣𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕓𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 through the club , her eyes lift and lock in with gabe’s . the boy she too often finds herself entangled with . though the relationship is 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 , it is also just as CONTENTIOUS as well . despite her head telling her 𝙉𝙊 , noelani moves closer towards him . before she edges near the space he’s occupying she downs the drink that is in her hand .   “   well this one’s gone , so you better be able to back up that claim .   ”   the brunette leans in , replying to gabe .

at any point in time, reese is usually binge watching a show, or rewatching something he’s already binged when there’s nothing new to watch. and being the social butterfly that he is, he does his best to annoy people into joining him so that it’s a little less pathetic that he’s spending so much time on his couch. and it’s no surprise that noel’s his go-to whenever a new season of queer eye comes out, and he honestly does his best to clean up before she shows up to watch it with him, but he’s never going to be nanny mchpee. he’s trying to make the couch as crumb-free as possible when he hears his door open, and assuming that it’s noel and not some serial killer, he yells out, “ in here ! ” so that she goes to the living room and not his bedroom, because he definitely did not bother cleaning that.  @noelanis

     coming back to new york from fiji was like coming down from an extreme high . the cold HARSHNESS of the city contrasted the beaches of the island . unfortunately for noelani , she had to face 𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓎 . the reality of being in new york instead of somewhere 𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔭𝔦𝔠𝔞𝔩 was depressing to say the least . but thankfully she wasn’t the only one who had to come back to the real world , they all had to . this included reese , noel’s best friend . & to unwind from the stress of actuality the two were going to binge watch the newest season of 𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞 . when she walked into reese’s apartment complex the doorman greeted her with ｂｒｏａｄ smile , familiar with the girl as she visited countless times . it was as if she lived there as well , the way she knew so much about the complex . after taking a short ride up to reese’s floor , the brunette didn’t bother with knocking on the door , letting herself in without 𝑎𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡 . when she heard reese’s voice she followed his directions & his voice to the living room .   “   i need wine & tan france like an ADDICT needs heroin .   ”   noelani greeted before settling into the couch beside reese .
