Draw The Line - Mike Anderson

Today I finally uploaded the music video project from the digital filmmaking workshop I attended last year.

I knew I was gonna chose this song right when I first heard about the assignment. People always say you have to be careful when choosing the song because you might hate the song afterwards for multiple reasons. First you’re gonna listen to it a lot of times (what I did) and second you might screw it up (what I did too, for sure).

Let me extend a little on the screwing up bit: Filmmaking definitely is a lot harder than it might seem to outsiders. In the end I was just lucky to have had actors and a set to shoot the video on time. Also I could not have done it without my shooting group members. I owe them big times for helping me finish the video even though I took me way too much time and I had to shoot on a second day to have enough shots.

Even though I had run through some trouble making this video, I love how good (I mean not as bad as it could have) the video turned out. And yes, I still love the song a lot.

I have to admit: when I joined tumblr I thought this would be a place where people blog. Instead it is just a site to repost gifs and pictures that no one knows where they originally came from. Of course there's nothing wrong with that and it is quite entertaining most of the time. But still. Where's the original content? I don't want my first post to be a rant. But please...
