A kind Whumper who gives Whumpee everything they ask for

Whumpee asked for water, and so they were waterboarded/drowned. Whumpee was cold so Whumper either locks them in a burning hot room, or sets a part of them on fire They're hot? Ice bath for a couple of hours Tired? Sedate them constantly until they can't remember how many days have passed. Maybe play a sick game of twisting the world when they awake. " YOU'RE FINALLY AWAKE!!! THREE YEARS, WHUMPEE. I'VE WAITED THREE YEARS" keep on playing mind games until they start to believe you, only to shatter their new reality. Maybe they wake up with Whumper not around, believing they've been freed. WHumper's friends play into the delusion, just long enough for Whumper to get home before mocking a devastated Whumpee. Bored? Give them so much labour, they can barely walk after. hungry? force them to eat until they're puking lonely? Kidnap another person and gift them to Whumpee. Make sure they both know who's fault it is that they were taken.

Caretaker is pissed. Not at Whumpee, but at whatever situation/problem there is.

Their answers to Whumpee's questions are snappish and short. They're all around angry at the entire problem/situation, unintentionally taking it out on Whumpee.

Whumpee, however, felt that Caretaker was angry at them, so they either left or got more withdrawn.

And Caretaker later realized what they've done. Cue guilt.

Whumpee waking up from a coma/unconsciousness and notices Caretaker is asleep by her bed, holding her hand. Whumpee moves her fingers, trying to squeeze Caretaker's hand with her limited strength, waking Caretaker up.

Whumpee watches relief wash over Caretaker's face as he jumps on his feet and cradles her face.

"Easy, Easy, it's Okay,"

When Caretaker opened the door, cold air hit them in the face. Caretaker took their time scanning the cell; their eyes examining the metal bars that allowed the frigidness to enter and the concrete walls that added to Caretaker's feeling of disgust. Nothing in there gave hints of human life, and yet...

Caretaker gasped and almost dropped their gun when they saw a chain connected to the wall that disappeared into a small, human body shivering.

A shaky breath leaves Caretaker as they slowly approach; holstering their weapon when they let their knees hit the ground. "Hey, um, I'm Caretaker. Can you turn over for me? Please?"

Whumpee gave no indication of hearing them, so Caretaker knelt with hesitant hands hovering inches away. "I can...turn you over? If you're unable?"

Caretaker's heart sank when Whumpee let out a high-pitched whine from their warm hand settling on their shoulder.

"Easy, easy, it's okay." Caretaker wrapped his arm around Whumpee's body and pulled him into his lap for more warmth.

Whumpee immediately relaxed in Caretaker's hold and started sobbing from relief.

"Sh sh, I know, I know, it's all alright now." Caretaker started rocking and rubbing Whumpee's back. "You're safe."

Whumpee slowly gained consciousness again. They were no longer lying on cold hard concrete. They blink and look around, seeing caretaker standing next to their bed with crossed arms.

"Where are we?"

"Hospital. Next time maybe come here directly instead of bleeding out on my doorstep."

Whumpee lowered their gaze.

"I'm sorry."

Caretaker sighed.

"It's fine, Whumpee. It's just that I haven't heard from you for months and then I almost get a heart attack thinking someone dumped your corpse in front of my door. What happened to you? Where have you been?"

"Such a delicate little rose. Be patient, I'll prune away every part of you until the only thing left is of my design."

That moment when Caretaker calls Whumpee's name... and gets cut off.

Maybe it's an attack, an ambush, Whumper sneaking up on Caretaker in the middle of their desperate search.

Maybe Whumpee was just bait, and Caretaker didn't see the trap until it was too late.

Maybe Caretaker has been calling for hours, and their voice simply gives out on them.

Maybe Caretaker cuts themself off. Maybe the shock of seeing Whumpee in the horrible state they were left in is just too much for them.

Love a whumpee who's trying to tell Caretaker something important but they're so out of it with their illness/injury they forget they've already told them like five times already. Caretaker just has to keep patiently acknowledging it each time, "Okay- yes, I've heard- thank you for letting me know, etc." to try and keep them calm while they're treated

Leader whumpee idea

(yes, again. i miss him :c — if you feel like my whumpee here)

The team starts noticing. They don’t know when it started, don’t know why it took them so long to see it, but suddenly—it’s there. Leader is scared. Not of anyone hurting him. Not of punishment. Not even of the Villains he stood so fearlessly against. But of upsetting them.

He apologizes for everything. Too much. If he speaks, if he asks a question, if he simply exists in a way that might inconvenience someone—his first instinct is always, “Sorry.” As if even breathing might blow over the card house that held their affection to him, that it would come tottering down.

They brush it off at first. But then it gets hard to ignore, once scattered looks seemed to stick to his face like a mask. Maybe Leader flinches when he asks for something—like he’s bracing for rejection. Maybe he gets visibly relieved when someone acknowledges him. Maybe he hesitates before sitting down, before joining conversations, like he’s waiting for permission.

And the worst part?

He doesn’t even seem notice he’s doing it.

Caretaker who defeated Whumper and went home...

But forgot to free Whumpee, who was held captive by now-dead Whumper.

Whumpee somehow frees themself and comes home to Caretaker pissed AF.
