I just got here so I'm not sure, Is the character on your Alex tag Aleksandr Kozachenko from Resident Evil: Damnation?
sort of! anything in that tag pre like. 2015 is probably the alex from damnation, but anything post that and going forward is my OC of the same name because i didnt have the forethought to give him a different name/tag and it's too late now lol

alex is another character i've had since like. middle school. so i have an embarrassing amount of old art of him!
his design has barely changed, but he's somehow gotten even more miserable over the years <3
i've never drawn a complete ref sheet for alex and he's been swirling around in my brain a bunch lately so i committed way too much time to actually making one for him lol.
Alexander is Cheslov's older brother and resident anti-social nightmare man. He is devastatingly quiet and forcefully stunts his own emotions, so he usually comes off as pretty deadpan and uninterested. But the dragon he's basically merged bodies with once burned an entire city to the ground so. It's no surprise that he's kind of agoraphobic :')

#OC#alex#character design#worst guy of all time (affectionate)#I think ches and his dragon are much more separate even tho theyre technically 'the same person'. like his body is separate from the dragon#but alex and his dragon are significantly more intertwined. so his body turns into the dragon instead of just projecting his soul into it#if any of that makes sense lol#alex is stuck in an insane purgatory and is basically just doing his best not to kill everyone around him at all times#which has made him pretty jaded and a generally miserable person to be around!

Aaa i didnt know Ark is ace!! When i first found your blog i scrolled through and ran into the art where Nick is laying on him and theyre looking at each other all softly and theyre both naked but nothings showing. It didn't startle me the way unexpected naked art has in the past, so it gave THIS 30 year old repulsed ace a brand new intospection of themselves and their repulsion triggers. So seeing Ark is acespec like me warms my heart. Much love, have a nice day!

ark's pretty comfortably asexual now in his adulthood, but he was around 30 before having that self-realization lol. He had all the classic asexual baggage of feeling like something was wrong with him, but he's been a lot more confident about it since figuring it out :)

i hate doing this but i just got a 470$ vet bill for bloodwork that didnt even help us figure out what's wrong with sully. he will likely need an ultrasound or other testing in the immediate future and I can't take on any more work right now. if anyone has a loose dollar or two, i set up a goal on ko-fi. Hopefully i'll be able to cover anything else after we get back from seattle but i just dont have anything in savings for this right now :/
