My cat is a gray tabby, but I'm not biased. I think torties are the cutest! A little black cat is adorable too. 🐈⬛️ But what do you think?
And while you're here, please share and donate if you can to help a mother, widowed by genocide, and her two young children. They live in a tent and winter is fast approaching. Any thing helps ❤️
PLEASE support The Innocence Project. Let the state sanctioned murder of Marcellus Williams radicalize you into caring about incarcerated people. Don’t let those in office that allow for this to defeat you. Incarcerated people are among the most violated and exploited class of people in the United States. We have built a justice system that benefits off of the mass incarceration of marginalized people. Incarceration is used to disenfranchise people. It is used for modern day slavery. Anyone can become incarcerated. It is the quickest and easiest way for your government to strip you of your rights.
one of my favourite new upcoming GL manga rn, love bullet, about girls who get reincarnated as cupids except they've modernized and now they use guns instead of bows.... silly sounding premise but the visual direction is extremely striking and its been super emotionally impactful to me so far at just 7 chapters out. check out the fan translation on mangadex/dynastyscans and if you like it please buy a copy of it for 5 dollars (guide on how to buy it below) cause the sales are struggling and if it gets cancelled ill die badly,,, thank you
As a queer person online who is not from the dominant cultural powerhouse in the world, the most common phrase I see is "know your queer history". I was always annoyed by this mantra not because I didn't want to take the time to understand the evolution of queerness through time but because that statement was always silently referring to North American queer history.
Australians. We now have an incredible new LGBTIQA+ documentary about queerness in Australia's colonial and Aboriginal history and it's written by gay comedians. Wins all around. If you want to learn about YOUR queer history, the three part documentary Queerstralia is now showing on ABC iView. Go go go!
Goodbye the the Penumbra podcast! It was a really sweet finale! (Quote is from season 5, episode 24)
my tpp ramblings below the cut
I’ve been listening to Penumbra since 2018, and Juno Steel especially has been a hugely important piece of media for me! So when I heard TPP was ending I knew I wanted to do something for it (like with Magnus). Originally I had this plan to do an animatic but I grossly overestimated how much time and work animating a 4 minute song was going to be lmao! So I decided very last minute to do this comic instead! It was obviously not done when the finale actually came out but better late than never I suppose. I did my best to try and capture as much of the podcast as possible, but I had to leave out some stuff unfortunately (it’s a long ass podcast), this comic was originally also gonna have another page so I might make that and add it later!
For folks nearby or who may be in town, please check them out! They do catering and tastings as well. Their pizzas, lemonades, and handcut fries look ahmazing -and they have vegan options too for folks. If I ever go to Philly in the near future, I'm gonna go for sure!
‘twist villain’ is always good of course but i’m such a sucker for ‘twist hero’. specifically as in they write a character to be as suspicious and unnerving as possible without really actually doing anything wrong yet but you just KNOW something is wrong but then surprise. they’re fine actually. all the alleged wrongdoings were either lies harmless or taken out of context. it’s even better if the suspicious aspects of their personality don’t go away after the reveal that they’re a good guy. they just act and look and talk like that for fun. they’re just a little silly
