INTRODUCING:

NIGHTMARE!!

Role: Prop/scene maker! (Long explanation under cut)

Nightmare is a halfing demon with an absentminded nature. They have the power to create stars (like the one on their tail) to do just about anything - mainly to be paint holders but moving past that. It's quite rare to see Nightmare without paint on their uniform and themself. They just get so lost in their creations that they forget not to make a mess! Holding a conversation with them is quite hard without their sketchbook and pencil. They constantly have new ideas for props and sets! However, when they are focused, it's difficult to pry them away from their task at hand! (I know this sounds just like ADHD and autism as a person, BUT PLEASE 😭) They work better in smaller groups or with a close co-worker! They go to Mr. Puzzles with a sketch in hand of a new prop/set and ask for his opinion before they start crafting away! Speaking of Mr. Puzzles, Nightmare finds him confusing but endearing. It's a really hit or miss with some of their conversations and topics. Now, onto the SMG4 production crew! Nightmare isn't the biggest fan of their work. They respect them but aren't a fan. Just like Mr. Puzzles they prefer quality over quantity for movies!

February 14th, Valentines Day. A day full of chocolates, stuffed animals, flowers, and kisses. And you just so happened to be alone on that day, just like all the other years before it. You shake away the negative thoughts beginning to cloud your mind and you get ready for the day. You had recently been visiting Mr. Puzzles more often since SMG4 and the others destroyed his screen and flinged him off to the forest. This day was no exception, making your way to his studio with hopes of distractions against your thoughts.

The studio was quieter than normal. Usually, you would hear some talking or the sounds of props moving - but nothing. Just as you were about to go to the main stage, the lights cut off. "It's time for a real show, darling!" You knew that cocky voice from anywhere, Mr. Puzzles. A spotlight appeared over you and Mr. Puzzles as he decended from above on a comedically large heart prop. His T.V face shows him looking at you smugly...and a faint pink heart rate? "What are you doing?" You pressed, a soft smile on your face. You assume he was going to ask you to star in one of his latest productions.

The question made him look away sheepishly, his screen showing an embarrassed look while the pink on his screen grew brighter. "I was wondering if you wanted to..." Mr. Puzzles sighed and puffed his chest out, "To go on a date with me somewhere? I know the spotlight isn't your favorite, so we can always just stay here at the studio." Mr. Puzzles declared, his smug look back again. You, on the other hand, were surprised, a faint blush on your cheeks as you looked at him. "I would love that a lot." You answered. He seemed to melt at your words and gently hugged you, his screen warm against your skin. Static zapped you softly as he pressed his screen against your forehead. "You just made me the happiest man in the world, (Y/N)" Maybe Valentines Day wasn't so bad after all. ❤️
