Tried out King Arthur Flour's Japanese Milk Bread recipe on New Years' Eve and I was really proud of how it turned out! In checking the crumb, the very center of the loaves were still very closed and super slightly raw--but I was pleased that it was delicious regardless. My loaf rolling technique still needs work lol, but to have this loaf made in the new year makes me hopeful to try more bread recipes to come. I would definitely want to make this recipe again, as it was easy to read and understand.

What would be better to start this food blog with some pictures of delicious Burmese food? I had a wonderful time with my two sisters in Oakland trying this place for the first time during Christmas. This place is Burma Superstar, and they had a fantastic menu. We tried their Platha and Dip (want to try to make this at home, I LOVE the dip), Garlic Noodles, Tea Leaf Salad (not pictured), Eggplant and Chicken Curry, and their Mango Lassi (not pictured). I would love to try more Burmese food in my area back home, these dishes were extremely flavorful and soo comforting!
