Two weeks ago, when I told you that I was looking for an apartment, thank God, we found an apartment that was not suitable for living, but we tried to live in it, as it was bombed and in a dangerous area, and there was no internet in the area.

My friend Nader (@abdalsalam2000) and his family are displaced and homeless in Gaza. The price of everything they need for survival is increasing as food, supplies, and medicine are so scarce. They need €85,000 as soon as possible and have already raised over €83,500.

His campaign is #4 on the Gazavetters list and was one of the earliest to be vetted. Lina Al-Safadi, Nader's cousin, receives the donations from the fundraiser and transfers them to Nader's family in Gaza. This is a very safe, trusted fundraiser, and they rely on it to survive.

So I have had a friend who has gone above and beyond in helping me with stuff, and I am super appreciative for that. I need some more help this month, though, and I don't want to overburden them, so I'm hoping I can get some help from others.

My friend helped cover my overdraft and a $430 loan payment that would have overdrawn my account if I'd put anything into my account, so I can now put any donations in my account to pay off the $238 electric bill.

We still need to clean out our storage unit of the big items we're not bringing to the apartment, and it's going to be around $800. So we need to try and raise that ASAP so we can stop paying for two units every month.

Any help would be amazing, whether it's with donations or reblogs. Thanks in advance!

To keep all long thing short (more details in gfm below) my roommates (fiance and loved one) and I are trying to fund our leave from a deeply red state to a safer location where we have more affordable housing, consistent work, a welcoming community, better chances of healthcare etc. All 3 of us are disabled, one of us trans, and one intersex and brown a place that increasingly makes that dangerous.

We also need urgent help with healthcare in general, esp because my roommate has cancer, need major surgery her insurance is denying, and will likely need chemo after.

We broke our big moving goal into smaller monthly goals to make it more achievable and in a timely manner so that we actually survive this, but we are not achieving. We have not met the first months goal two months 5 we have urgent specialist appointments coming up.
