Help a queer, disabled, Métis S*x Worker in need of housing

Hello. You can call me Angel. I am a 21 year old Métis, queer, 2spirit, disabled s*x worker in Tkaronto. I am in desperate need of your help.

Due to COVID, as well as other situations outside of my control, I am now no longer with safe housing. I had to move outside of the city due to my financial situation, into an abusive and toxic environment I escaped long ago. Due to this I am no longer able to work as I have no way to and from the city. FSSW is my only feasible source of income due to my multiple disabilities and extreme poverty and without stable housing, I will not be able to get back to work or sustain myself at all.

My goal is $2500, so that I can afford the first and last on a new apartment, so that I can get back to work and continue to sustain myself in the future!

Please, if anyone can help me get back on my feet so that I can get back on my feet, it means the world.

PLEASE HELP ME PUT OF THIS HOUSING/FINANCIAL/MEDICAL CRISIS‼️

I am currently Stuck paying rent for 2 people, my ex roommate bailed on me‼️(in the middle of a pandemic/knowing I’m chronically ill and immune compromised) w/o telling me ahead of time OR paying ANYTHING. I got left to pay her rent & bills..so there went my medical, emergency, & necessities money... it��s been really rough & scary, especially during this time as someone whose ill & can’t work a “normal job” to catch up w the debt I was left in.. BUT I FINALLY found a cheaper place that accepted my application (a miracle as I have bb credit) and this is my chance to GET OUT‼️‼️

I need to pay first and last months rent and the last months rent of the “old place”. So that’s $3,785 (not including electric or gas/wifi/food..) 

I can cover 900$ !! I can hustle a bit more too, but I NEED YOUR HELP‼️

All I want is to just live alone, somewhere safe, and stable so I can heal from my surgeries coming up, and not have to be terrified of being homeless again (in a pandemic that’d kill me for sure) .. Hi, I’m in an emergency position and everything is falling apart 😔

My food stamps got cut off, I do not get unemployment, my seasonal job has ended and I do not qualify for financial aid to go back to school. 

So basically I am fucked and I do have bills to pay. I’m applying for jobs but I need internet to do that (libraries are closed because of covid). Also, I would like to buy some groceries and eat.

Also, and advice in terms of prep for potentially being arrested? What to wear/ have on you/ not have on you (aside from the obvious)?

Wear well-fitted practical clothes that won't draw attention to you. Get a sharpie and write your contact/jail support phone number and any applicable medical information on a covered part of your body (do NOT put it on your arm or anyplace else where normies with cameras can see it). Carry some form of identification on you, but leave any crime supplies (such as the drugs) and your phone at home.

If you're a great big queermo like most of us are, it might be behoove of you to [do we have a better word for this?] try to "pass" as your assigned gender; you'll be less likely to be targeted in the first place, and jail will suck less. But of course for a lot of us (such as yours truly) that's not possible and/or death would be preferable, so make sure you remember those jail support & National Lawyer's Guild & IWOC numbers.

Also try to keep in mind that, unless you were doing a bad crime or standing next to somebody doing a bad crime, your stay at the concrete Hilton probably won't be more than a couple days tops and you very well may never see the inside of a courtroom. Quadruply so if you're white and/or straight and/or cis. The main goal of mass arrests at protests is to disrupt the protest and to terrorize people.

Of course, the ideal outcome we should all strive for is that nobody gets arrested. So the most important advice is: Bloc up, stay close to your pals, know your exits, practice de-arresting, and leave your phone at home.

one of the ways i know this culture has a massive issue with consent

is the sheer amount of people I’ve known that just lie & tell people they’re deathly allergic to foods they dislike

because otherwise people will hound them, mock them, coax them, harass them, try to force them to eat it, or even trick them into eating it, and they will never hear the end of it

your coworkers will bake it into a fucking pie, call it something else, and wait til your birthday, gather everyone and their first cousins to sit around in a circle waiting for you to put a forkful into your mouth and then point rhythmically at you in a chanting, glaring, sweating, unholy circle like SWISS CHARD SWISS CHARD YOU JUST ATE SWISS CHARD HA HA HA SWISS CHARD NOW YOU LIKE SWISS CHARD
