Notes about The Pigeon Man

•Released some time near the turn of the millennium- no earlier than 1996 and no later than 2004

•The main character was an office worker in his 30s, possibly very early 40s. He was very meek and awkward, and he was a complete outcast in his office

•All of the other members of his office were these very plastic-y suburbanite types. They were also obsessed with home improvements, and were planning on renovating the office at some point

• The main character starts talking to pigeons and it builds his confidence for some reason

•Eventually he controls the pigeons and slowly starts transforming into a pigeon (I didn't actually see any of this)

•Distinctly remember him delivering a monologue about how he lived on the 1000th floor of his apartment complex so sometimes the elevator would just start falling(?) and he liked the feeling of freedom it gave him

•The movie had small animated segments that looked much more modern, which is what made me think it was more early 2000s than late 90s. They had this distinct voxel style

the distortion of "there is potential profit we did not earn" as "there is money we lost" is fascinating and disgusting to me. "megamediaconglomerate lost $1,000,000,000 to piracy this year" is a flat out lie. it is not true. they did not have a billion dollars, that they now do not have. they felt entitled to one billion dollars, that they did not have, and still do not have. it's an infuriating perversion of the truth
